Some great conditions last week meant that a trip to Horse Isle was possible for Kris and Greig on their lesson.

Somewhere that we get a lot of questions about and one of those places that people have seen from the shore for years but have never had the opportunity to go to.

With the right conditions it’s always nice to get a wee trip over to the island which is about a mile off shore at high tide.
A good island to circumnavigate too for more experienced paddlers.

We always take care not to get too close and never land on the island as it is an RSPB protected site.

Strong offshore winds forecast all weekend for Ayrshire , not a weekend for coastal paddling 🌊

Stay on dry land, plenty of other days to get out there 🌊🏄🏼‍♀️🏄🏼‍♂️

A great 1-1 lesson with Alan a couple of weeks ago, easing myself back into teaching.

We covered loads on this 1-1 lesson. Setting up board correctly, weather, tides, environment, paddle technique , turns, rescues all while enjoying the stunning conditions we had.

One more confident and safe paddler out enjoying the water 🌊

Hi guys! It’s been a while!

We’ve been meaning to post for some time now but life has been hectic!

We have had loads of messages asking about lessons and we are still doing some here and there but gone are the days of being at the beach from sunrise to sunset!

In December we welcomed our beautiful daughter Esmée and if the last 6 months are anything to go by the time goes so, so fast and right now we are soaking up every precious moment with our wee girl 💛

We’re hoping to get a few social paddles in to catch up with you all (we miss you!) but for now our availability is very limited.
