The Topping family have been training in Taekwondo for 12 years. For all members of the same family to earn promotion to black belt is not an easy task. James has now joined both his parents & 4 siblings. He earned his black belt in his final year at primary school, he was determined to achieve this. With his parents & older siblings all going Taekwondo since he was born, he could count from 1-10 in Korean before he started nursery school.

The Topping’s are now part of an ever increasing number of families from Banbridge/Gilford Taekwondo to all achieve their black belts.

Taekwondo is one of the best family sports. It builds strength, improves coordination, and teaches valuable life skills like respect and discipline, all while letting parents and children train, sweat, and achieve belt milestones together.
