Spring is In the air!! 😁

Diary has reponed for the spring rush and summer push. πŸ˜…

Haven't opened the diary for new PT clients since our big move back in October but spring is the perfect time of the year to take on some new motivated faces to push through to summer.

Another great transformation from our B proving that if you stay focused long term you can achieve great things.

Benita being my wee sis has trained with me for many years getting herself into great shape a few times so she knows how to get it done so to speak.

Like us all benita came out fo the "covid years" eager to get back to her fitness and shape she had kept pre babies.lol.

She knew what needed to be done it was just needing that spark of motivation and that click that we get to say right time to do this. And do this she did. She has achieved an amazing change in her shape and her fitness is through the roof these days.

She has completed a few ignite challenges and has used them along with her own knowledge and my nagging to find a structure that works for her as a busy mum, then she remained patient knowing that things change if you just give it enough time.

I want to say a massive well done and I'm really proud as alwasy of her. Here's what she had to say.

Since covid, I've been attending Maxx Life Gym, doing a weekly pt trying all classes, etc. I wasn't seeing results as i was expecting that one work out to change all for me.

After the first ignite seeing everyone's results, i said I'd definitely do the next one, and in October 2021, i threw myself in an focused on food choices losing just over 20lb.

After ignite i stayed focused, keeping up with my pt an classes but being a lot more serious with food options, Totalling 3 stone off altogether up until this point, i feel healthier all over an much stronger. I know it was the change in my nutrition and lifestyle that is helping me achieve my goals as it's providing me with more energy.

I'd recommend maxxlife gym to anyone considering joining. The atmosphere is very welcoming and motivating and the class schedule provides you with lots of choice which works for me being a busy mum.

Well dome again B as always your a pleasure to torture and we will keep pushing onwards. 😁

A case of good things take time.😁

Leah here has completly transformed her shape, fitness and mindset over this past year. When she first started she dived straight into training, I would have seen her coming into the gym and smashing her workouts which was great to see but there was something missing that she needed to add to really achieve the results she wanted.

When she started training with me I knew getting her to push herself wasnt going to be a problem, she loves to train. We just needed to get to grips with her nutrition and lifestyle habits. Fast forward a year and a half and she is smashing it. I want to congratulate her on her results to date because nothing comes free in this game and results should be applauded because it ain't nothing but hard work that has got her to where she is.

Here's Leah's story in her own words.😊

In January 2020 I joined Maxx Life Gym for the first time. I had been to a couple of different gyms in the past but I didn’t really know exactly what workouts I should be doing and wasn’t seeing much progress. As soon as I joined Maxx Life I loved it. There is a great variety of classes and times to suit everyone and everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

During lockdown that year, the gyms had closed and I stopped training. I done a few sessions in another gym after lockdown and then in January 2022 I decided to rejoin Maxx Life as I had fell back into old habits and I felt like this was the best gym I had been to and I really enjoyed the classes when I went before.

After attending classes for the first month, I decided to reach out to Shane to start PT’s in February 2022. I had never trained with a PT before and I felt like I needed that extra push and encouragement. The PT sessions were great. I had never really done much weight training before and I could feel myself getting stronger every week.

I have completed 3 Ignite challenges in the gym so far. The first one was in March 2022, however I felt like I hadn’t pushed myself as much as I could have during this challenge so when the challenge came around again in September 2022, I decided to really try to make positive changes to my lifestyle and with Shane’s advice & guidance, regular PT sessions & classes, I was able to do that.

I then went on to complete another Ignite challenge in March of this year and since September last year I have now lost over 3 stone. I feel stronger & healthier and more confident and the PT’s definitely gave me the motivation that I needed.

I can’t wait to continue my journey at Maxx Life. If anyone is thinking about signing up I would encourage it, you won’t regret it πŸ˜€

Client transformation post...😁

I want to congratulate Aine Daly on her recent 12 week transformation.

Signing upto our mentored coaching programme and absolutely smashing it.

Her goal was to improve her body composition, start shedding the unwanted body fat she couldn't seem to shift and to improve her training knowledge aswell as her nutrition.

I personally think she smashed it over the 12 weeks, all while developing a whole new outlook on Training.

Aine would have been your typical gym goer. As most do assuming more workouts, more exercise is always the answer but to be left frustrated with the same results.

We set out our plan and we agreed we would stick to it and see where the 12 weeks would take us. As the coach I knew I only needed her to trust me until the results started to show. After that she knew what worked and what she assumed would work actually set her back further.

We prioritized the quality of our training rather than the quantity. We focused on nutrition, daily activity aswell getting ample rest and sleep.

Here's what Aine had to say....

Having had four children in quick succession and my 40th looming; I decided it was time to start taking better care of myself and signed up to the 12 week mentoring programme with Shane.

Firstly he was able to tell me where I had been going wrong (not eating enough/ over-training).
Secondly, he informed me how nutrition and rest were just as important (if not more) than my actual training sessions.

I found every PT session to be engaging and informative.
If I ever slipped up with my nutrition, a quick chat/ pep talk during a workout was enough to get me back on track and remain focused.

The mentored coaching daily tracker, which was filled out and emailed every evening was a game changer.
You were accountable for all your exercise and food choices for the day.
No where to run or hide!

Shane urged me to take photos at the beginning, week 4, week 8 and at the end of the challenge.
Forget the scales, these photos were the true results!

I feel with shanes advice and the MC programme it has given me the tools and confidence to keep working towards new goals.
The only regret is that I didn't sign up sooner.

Congratulations again Aine on smashing your 12 weeks. You did yourself proud and I'm super chuffed for you.

A dose of motivation for summer. 😁

A delayed but warranted post to recognize the effort put in by some of our members during our most recent ignite55 health challenge.

8 weeks to transform one's health and fitness can sometimes be just what you need to help pull you from that unhealthy rut you may find yourself in from time to time.

It's simple really....

You design your personal challenge along with your trainer.

Use our tracker system aswell as your coach to remain accountable.

Use the motivation flowing throughout the gym during the 8 weeks to give it your best efforts.

And it's that easy.

3 things to do now to make the most of this years fitness journey....

1. Make the most of the longer days. Up the step counts and fitness levels.

2. Opt for fresh. Eating more fruits, vetgables, salads and lots of water.

3. Get accountable, what ever way you can. Through your gym, group of friends, a coach. It doesn't matter you need someone or a group to help you stay the course.

Spring is in the air and wr have a spring in our step. Upping our efforts as we push for summer goals.

Ignite55 has kicked off

If you've never heard of it, check out our website. It's an 8 to 12 week health and physical transformation challenge.

We run it twice a year, spring and autumn and we always see a great buzz around the place and in our social groups.

Clients always step it up, and they feel they have something that helps keep them accountable when pushing for summer and Christmas goals.

It's a great challenge that we always see some amazing results from and people really do transform themselves and their health as a result of the challenge.

Only a few days in but the clients are posting all their healthy choices and helping to motivate one another. Gotta love the motivation in time for spring.
