Caroline popped down to the club tonight to present the club with a cheque for £500 to assist with club education this year!
This money goes towards parent and coaches education in areas of safeguarding, team management, L1 coaching fees.

*Orchard Gala 25th April 2026*

What a Gala! This one had it all!
We had a wonderful day as a club on Saturday last!
Everyone came together to put on a wonderful event at the OLC!
So many people to thank!
- Paul and the OLC team, including Dobs and the cafe Olympus crew Cafe Olympus
- All of our gala sponsors (see program pic below)
- Swim Ulster referee, timing and officials
- Dept Lord Mayor Cllr Jessica Johnston for joining us and meeting some of the medalists!
- the 8 swimming clubs who joined us with competitors for the day, shout out to Portadown Amateur Swimming Club
- our brilliant coaches for keeping the swimmers on track
- parents and committee for a mammoth effort organizing the event (amazing)
- our swimmers, for putting on a masterclass in racing!

Loads of medals, loads of smiles! We’ll catch our breath and here’s to next years gala!!

*Talent Development Progression*
2 of our swimmers Aoife and Cillian have progressed to the Swim Ulster talent development program in Magherafelt. This is a very significant achievement for them both and we are really proud that they swim under the Yellow and Blue of the ACSC. Well Done, and we wish them all the best!

*Club Spain trip April 2026 post 3*
Our swimmers and coaches finished off a great week of swimming in Torremolinos.
They had 8 coaching sessions over 4 days in an Olympic sized outdoor heated pool.
Great swimming throughout the week, techniques improved, craic had, team spirit built!
All of the folks involved really enjoyed the trip!
Thank you to our parents and coaches who planned and managed the event, and importantly to our swimmers who made the most of their time and made the trip the success it was!
Here’s to next time, next year?!!!

We had a great day yesterday!
Loads of sunshine, and two super swimming sessions! Plenty of extra-curricular craic, a little shopping, as a very exciting Bingo call to finish off the evening!

Early start on Tuesday, our Home in Torremolinos for the week, great gear (hoodies and t-shirts), super swimming, wet and windy Wednesday, crackin’ quiz (c’mon the Joseph), a dodgy lift, and powerful performances at Karoake!
Great start to the trip, and the weather is looking mighty for the day ahead!

The club is very proud of Rokas, a consistent high performing swimmer who loves the sport, and recently set a qualifying time for nationals this summer! No mean feat, well done Rokus!

Aquasprint vs Swim Belfast @ OLC

Well done to our wonderful AquaSprint team! We are now 3 wins from 3 this year after another nail-biter up the Orchard!

Big thanks to the coaches, volunteers, parents for coming to help out and host a great gala yesterday at the Orchard.

Emma and Sean are excellent role models in the club for our members!
Emma’s love for the sport has taken her down the open water swimming and coaching pathways (L2 qualification).
Sean McC is concentrating on indoor All-Ireland competition times as he will compete again this year in NAQ’26!

Aqua-sprint vs Mid Ulster

Our intrepid traveling aqua-sprint team boarded the bus on Saturday afternoon bound for Magherafelt.

We had a brilliant afternoon with the mid-Ulster swimming club in their lovely facility, welcomed by gracious hosts, and supplied with a fabulous tea after the racing. And racing there was!

Crackin’ swimming by all involved meant for a very tight competition, with our Armagh Aquas claiming the win! Many of our new swimmers are getting their first taste of gala competition through these fun, friendly and exciting events.
