Over the past few weeks we’ve been working on the reintroduction of the Panic Wagon here at Hednesford Hills, which we’re sure plenty will remember from way back when!

Used for track clean up during race events, this Venice is supplied and sponsored by our good friends at Chase Metal Recycling ♻️

The last Panic Wagon was a blue 1960s Morris LD which was last seen at Hednesford in the mid 1980s - we hope will provide great memories for the older race fans, and help ensure the racing surface is at its best at the home of Hot Rod racing.

Double World Weekend; over and out!

What a three days at Brafield it was, with two new hugely deserving World Champions crowned and plenty of racing action. If you joined us trackside or watched live from home - then we would like to say thank you!

To the drivers and teams working in far from ideal conditions when the weather took a turn - we’re still waiting to be able to run a weekender at Northampton when it doesn’t - your efforts and distance travelled doesn’t go un noticed and we thank you all for the support.

To the thousands of race fans, seeing smiles on faces is what this weekend was all about. If you travelled 1 mile or 1000 miles, thanks again and we hope you enjoyed your visit. To everyone getting involved in the 80s/90s fancy dress and disco - there were some great efforts!

Finally - our thanks to the staff and officials who made it all happen. On track, off track, this army of people contributed to bringing the event to life. We wouldn’t have any racing without you.

When arriving at Northampton Shaleway this weekend, please use the appropriate gate from the main road, and please allow extra time to arrive due to roadworks in the area.

Don't forget, a shuttle coach - thanks to our good friends at Andrews of Tideswell - will be operating over the weekend to get you to and from the Day Car Parking area should you wish to use it.

A free shuttle will also bring you to and from the Turnstiles from the Disabled Parking area should you wish to use it.

Bumpers clanging and engines roaring: ditch the takeaway at home and join us on Friday night for an event worth the hype in its own right - it's a traditional full format BriSCA F1 Stock Car format alongside the all-action 1400cc Stock Cars.

Watch these two hugely entertaining classes set the tone for the biggest EVER Stock Car Weekend of racing - with a huge entry taking to the Brafield shale...

First race goes at 6:30pm, Turnstiles open 2:30pm.

We wish all competitors the very best of luck, and remind drivers to ensure their race cars conform to the rule book as extensive checks will be made - it is the driver's responsibility to ensure their car is legal.

Drivers racing at the event do not require a camping pass.

❓ As a BriSCA F2/Saloon driver, can I arrive on Friday?
Yes, competitor entry is available for all classes from 12pm on Friday 11th September.

❓ As a BriSCA F1 driver, do I need to leave the venue on Saturday?
BriSCA F1 drivers staying for the weekend will be parked in a designated pit area, allowing you to stay in one place for the whole event.

❓ As a 1400 driver, do I need to leave the pits on Friday night?
Yes, you will need to leave your pit area and move to the camping area.

❓ Where do I get safety checked?
Scrutineers will come to your race transporter.

As part of the Double World Weekend, drivers are travelling from far and wide to compete - none more so than the BriSCA F1 Stock Car New Zealand drivers!

Whilst it’s the BriSCA F2 and Saloon Stock Cars going for gold this weekend, a bumper entry of the Big League for both Friday and Sunday means a hugely competitive full format event with plenty of groundshaking thrills and spills.

We look forward to welcoming NZ1 Brad Uhlenberg, NZ33r Robbie Mabey, NZ38v Zane Djkstra and NZ156pTrent James to Northampton International Shaleway, they can be seen on track on Friday and Sunday.

These four hugely capable racers are getting all important track time as part of this unmissable Stock Car Weekend: the biggest we have ever seen!
