Olympèa has got herself a new fan 👑🥰 the lovely Mary on holiday in the area and has been cramming as much riding in as possible before they head home to Ireland!
We have been so lucky recently to meet the nicest people.

We did manage to miss the showers by some miracle but it was a gloomy overcast ride ☁️ missing the sunny days already!!

If you've ridden with us, you will have been welcomed at your car by alot of Labradors and a rather odd sheep!
So i thought I'd explain the story of Woody (the honorary Labrador!) he was born as a late lamb out in the field, within 24 hours he had somehow broken both his back legs, one leg had 2 breaks and the other had 3 breaks 😭 he was brought inside, bottlefed and i did the usual vetwrap and splints but one of the breaks was an open break and it was abit beyond my fixing capability! So the vet was called and it was a gamble with him growing out of the casts so fast but hundreds of pounds later on casts and pain relief.......fast forward 12 months and we now have a very happy Woody that lives with the dogs, fully believing he is actually one of them and will absolutely not stay in a field with the sheep 😂🫣
Should he be in a meat box by now?!...... absolutely!
But will he actually ever leave the farm?!.... absolutely not! He's part of the family now 🥰

As our avid followers will know Freya's lovely mum, Debbie came to us a few weeks ago for a gentle hack, it was much needed time to herself and a chance to press the reset button ready for Freya's next treatment beginning 🫂
Here at DerbyShire Adventures we are utterly in awe of the whole family's bravery and determination so we want to help!!

We are going to be selling our shires old horseshoes 🧲
They are enormous and make great decorations inside or out, each shoe will have the name of the horse it belonged to on it! A great souvenir idea after a ride with us or just something lovely to keep ❤️🖤
