Ashbourne Golf Club Beautiful 18 hole golf course, close to Ashbourne in the heart of Derbyshire.

Ashbourne is a private members club which also welcomes players who would like to experience the course on a very reasonable green fee basis. Ashbourne Golf Club, founded in 1886, is the oldest, & reputedly the friendliest club in Derbyshire, enjoying splendid views over Dovedale, the Weaver Hills & Ashbourne! The course is quite demanding and offers a combination of moorland, parkland and almost links-like features. It is developing an excellent reputation with the Derbyshire county teams, who hold some of their matches at Ashbourne. Ashbourne is a private members club with an active membership including strong ladies, juniors and seniors sections. The club is accredited by English Golf to GolfMark, the national scheme that identifies and recognises junior- and beginner-friendly golf facilities. We welcome any player who would like to experience what Ashbourne Golf Club has to offer on a Green Fee basis. You won't be disappointed in the friendliness of the members and the quality of the course, facilities and 19th hole!

Remembering Mick Grundy ❤️⛳

A talented golfer, Derbyshire County player and much-loved member of Ashbourne Golf Club.

Mick sadly lost his battle with leukaemia, but his memory has lived on through the Mick Grundy Memorial Golf Day and the incredible fundraising carried out in his name for Anthony Nolan.

This short film tells a little of Mick’s story, his love of golf, and the legacy that continues all these years later.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the event, donated, played and helped keep Mick’s memory alive.

Helen finished 2nd overall and, even better, took 1st place in Division 2! 👏👏
