Men’s training is back !!!

Thank you to the amazing local hockey community! 🏑💚
We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity and support shown by so many local hockey teams who have donated to our JustGiving page following the vandalism at Ball Lane, where windows were smashed at both the clubhouse and cricket pavilion.
It really has reminded us what makes the hockey community so special. We might be fiercely competitive when we step onto the pitch 🏑🔥, but when something happens to one of our clubs, everyone comes together to support each other. ❤️
Every donation, message and gesture of support means so much to us and will help us get Ball Lane back to being the place we all know and love.

Devistating vandalism to facilities used by Kennington Junior Football Club and Ashford Hockey Club have occurred over the weekend at BALL LANE in Kennington.
These facilities serve at least 1000 people over the course of a weekend during the seasons, mainly children.

We are not in a position fix immediately and would like to reach out to the community for support with grants/donations/funding, to facilitate the repairs and make the site secure again.

We also have a variety of sponsorship opportunities big and small, long term, short term and one off contributions

Sad News- all the windows of the clubhouse have been smashed overnight and the cricket pavilion also being vandalised over the last few days. Ladies section preseason is kicking off with a ladies section welcome back session open to all teams, new or previous players! Everyone welcome! Let’s start the season having some fun!

Pleased to announce that Lewis Elgar Lewis Elgar will be continuing his coaching across the men’s section for the upcoming season. After a disappointing relegation, Lewis is keen to rebuild for 26/27.

‘Lots of lessons learned last year, now we have to action a response and I’m ready for it’
