Thank you to every single one of you who came down and entered the Ashford Open yesterday. Brilliant turnout, seriously high standard of pool from the first break to the last black, and a proper atmosphere in the room all day. You lot made it what it was. 👏

🥇 Massive congratulations to Steve — and what a way to do it. He was 5-3 down to Pete in the semi-final and looked all but out of it, only to reel off three on the spin to book his place.

Then in the final he found himself 3-1 down to James and did it AGAIN, coming storming back to lift the trophy. Ice cold when it mattered. Thoroughly deserved.

🥈 And huge credit to James Goldsmith — outstanding all day on his run to the final, and he had the trophy in touching distance at 3-1 up.
