Fancy getting active, having some fun and meeting new people?

Come along to our Walking Netball session tomorrow from 12pm–1pm at Hirst Welfare Centre.

We have a really friendly and welcoming group, and the sessions are inclusive and suitable for all abilities. You don’t need to have played netball before – just come along, join in and enjoy yourself!

🎉 Family Fun Club is coming to Hirst Welfare Centre! ⚽🎮🧱

We’re delighted to support the Newcastle United Foundation Family Fun Club, running every Tuesday from 4pm–5pm at Hirst Welfare Centre.

The sessions are a great opportunity for parents and children to spend time together, have fun and get involved in a range of activities including LEGO, Pokémon cards and PlayStation gaming – and it’s all free!

To make the sessions even more welcoming for families, Hirst Welfare Centre’s Community Café will be open, giving families the opportunity to grab something to eat and enjoy a drink while they’re here. See the 'Specials Board' for offers.

🎉 Exciting things are coming up at Hirst Welfare Centre! 🎉

We’ve got a fantastic few months ahead, with lots of community events for everyone to enjoy. From Halloween fun and Children in Need to the Hirst Festival, our Christmas Fayre, Family Christmas Disco and the Big Community Christmas Lunch – there’s plenty to look forward to!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Ashington Junior parkrun is coming to Hirst Welfare Centre!

We’re delighted that, after lots of hard work behind the scenes, Ashington’s very own junior parkrun is starting right here at Hirst Welfare Centre! ❤️

📅 Sunday 4th October

📍 Hirst Welfare Centre

And the best part? It will then take place every Sunday at 9am! 🙌
