L&J Holiday Camp is a children's activity club based at Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Primary School in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Run by Mr Watson & Mr Chatts, the camp provides active childcare during school holidays.

🍂 L&J Holiday Camp – October Half Term 🍂

WE’RE BACK!

This October, we’ll be hosting a 4-day holiday camp at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, from Monday 26th October to Thursday 29th October.

We have 20 fully funded HAF places available for eligible families.
From our understanding, the eligibility criteria have changed this month. Our advice is to book as normal and wait for the local authority to approve or decline the eligibility check.

Any issues regarding eligibility will need to be dealt with directly with Tameside Council, as neither L&J nor the school has any control over the eligibility checks or allocation of HAF places.

☀️ L&J Holiday Camp – Summer Holidays! ☀️

Summer Camp Completed! ✅

What a wonderful 3 weeks we have had! We’ve welcomed over 55 children, who have enjoyed a fantastic range of activities, including water fights , balloon making , squishy making, different golf games ⛳ and so much more!

We finished camp today with a relaxed movie afternoon in our PJs, complete with snacks 🍿🎬.

We hope all the children have had a brilliant time with us.

A special well done to all of our Year 6s (our OGs), who attended camp. We wish you all the very best as you move on to your next adventure after your final day with us! ❤️

L&J Holiday Camp will be back for the October half term! 🍂
Dates will be confirmed over the next few days, so keep an eye out for further information.

Today, we gave golf putting a try, along with another exciting hockey competition! 🏑⛳️

Tomorrow is our last day of camp. With thunderstorms expected, the children have chosen a movie afternoon! 🎬🍿

If they wish, children can bring PJs and a teddy/pillow into school in their bag. We’ll provide snacks for everyone, but children are more than welcome to bring their own favourite snacks too. 🧸🍿

Children will enter through the main entrance of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School on Holden Street.

Children booked through HAF will be provided with a packed lunch. Children booked through our website will need to bring their own packed lunch. All children must bring a water bottle each day.

Today, we gave some new activities a go! The children learnt how to make balloon dog models and created their very own squishies. 🎈🐶

Some children also enjoyed a game of Kwik Cricket on the field 🏏. We ended the day by cooling down with an epic water fight! 💦🔫

With the lovely weather continuing, we’ll be having another water fight tomorrow! If your child is booked on, please make sure they bring:

Children will enter through the main entrance of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School on Holden Street.The weather is expected to be warm, so please make sure children have sun cream applied before arriving and, if needed, bring additional sun cream in their bag.

Children booked through HAF will be provided with a packed lunch. Children booked through our website will need to bring their own packed lunch. All children must bring a water bottle each day.

We will be having a water fight on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, as these are expected to be the hottest days of the week. We will send out a reminder the evening before with details of what the children need to bring.
