We’re delighted to announce that the annual Wicked Waterloo Halloween Event has moved to a bigger and better venue 🥳

🏏This year, we’re heading to Ashton Cricket Club for a night of spooky fun and dancing 👻

And the best bit is… IT’S FREE! 🎃

🏏📹 ASHTON CC FROGBOX 2027 📹🏏

We are delighted to announce another major investment in the club as we continue to improve the experience for our players, members, supporters and the wider cricket community.

From April 2027, Ashton CC will be introducing FrogBox live streaming technology, fully integrated with Play-Cricket, allowing supporters to follow the action wherever they are.

✅ Live streaming of all senior home matches
✅ Direct integration with Play-Cricket scoring
✅ Matches available to watch online
✅ Greater accessibility for members, supporters, families and sponsors

Whether you're unable to make it to the ground, supporting from further afield, or simply wanting to catch up on the action, you'll be able to follow Ashton CC throughout the season.

This is another exciting step forward in our ongoing commitment to developing the club's facilities and providing the best possible experience both on and off the field.

Ashton 175ao v 121ao Prestwich

Great win to round the season off finishing 2nd for the 1s, Mohsin Raza with back to back 50s, Ramis Mustafa 33 and Dan Hawthorne 44 contributed towards a total of 175 on a tricky deck

Great spell from Aaron Hurd opening the bowling, wickets shared throughout all bowlers to bowl them out for 125.

Fantastic effort from the boys all season, a 2nd place finish and the goal at the start of the season achieved, winter preparation and looking forwards to Division 1 next season 🖤❤️

Massive congratulations to our 1XI in achieving promotion to GMCL Division 1 with today's victory v Whalley Range.

Next season will be the first time the Club will compete in Division 1 since joining the GMCL a fantastic achievement, well done to the boys 📈

A fantastic result for the 1XI yesterday, with nobody else managing to get a game in a massive 6 points for the boys!

Bowling first in a game reduced to 32 overs Werneth posted a very good total of 189, following a small rain break post teas, the game was reduced to 24 overs with us requiring 160 to win.

Chasing, an unbelievable opening partnership from Ramis Mustafa 96* (52) & Ayaz Choudhury 47 (33) partnership of 122 in quick time both playign brilliantly, Ramis seeing the game home with a fantastic innings unfortunately just missing out on his ton.

A win next weekend would see the 1s promoted to division 1.

Congratulations to Tom Rayson (Sponsored by Josh Sayle) in securing his first season over in Australia, Tom has been a massive part in the recent rebuild at ACC and was the 2025 1XI player for the year.

Following the run in for ACC this season, Tom will travel to New South Wales 🇦🇺 playing for Old Boys CC for the 26/27 season.
