What was your personal highlight of the season?
Well my season for Bank was pretty woeful…so I’ll have to say my Rapids 100 v Derby after a tough run of form….
What was your favourite match you played in during 2026, and why?
For Bank I enjoyed the 2s game v Worcester at home, even though we lost it was a great battle that came down to the last over.
Who was your Player of the Season — and why?
Niamh Campbell, she’s been class for both the Women’s 1s and men’s 2s, taking wickets for fun and skippering the women to a 3rd place finish.
What was the biggest strength of your team in 2026? The youth! They’ve been outstanding..most of the team were u21 this year and they’ve done so well, especially without any tier players for most of the games.
What do you think makes playing cricket for Astwood Bank special? Top class facilities, best batting deck in the county by far, and it’s a family atmosphere!
What is the one thing you’d like to see the club improve or develop in 2027? I’d like to see more social games in the week
What are your personal cricketing goals for 2027?
Women’s team to win the Premier division, would be well deserved.
Is there anyone you’d particularly like to see join ABCC for 2027? I’ve heard Chris Gayle is interested in signing…

What’s your favourite ABCC memory so far? Probably winning Division 1 in 2023 with the women’s team, superb game, close second batting at Lords at 9 years old at the NVKO final in 2003!
