When friendships are formed from an idea of adventure.

I first met Emily two years ago when she had a plan; to canoe across the Isle of Lewis. The expedition was filmed by roxanna and toured a number of adventure film festivals & won a number of categories. The film is titled Capsized.

Fast forward to present; Emily & I shared the waters of the Hebrides once again when she joined us on our recent Hebridean Adventure. It was great to be back paddling with her 🙂

Paddling bringing people together, and friendships forming resulting in many more paddling trips 💛

Obtaining an award takes time, the correct assessment conditions are required in order for the courses to run. Sometimes that takes a few attempts when the weather does not come through as forecasted.

**November & December**

Having had a very busy year of incredible work; courses, guided days & expeditions, from 1:1s clients to families & their kids first canoe expeditions, from international canoe expeditions to the remote wilderness & amazing trips here in Scotland...]

November & December will be time for me to go personal paddling; explore new rivers & push some limits with a couple of challenges.
If you haven't got it confirmed with me for an assessment, course or coaching day then it will now be next year which is already starting to look busy.

Will be sharing lots of content that hasn't made it to socials due to being out paddling during this time.

A Hebridean Canoe Adventure; we have been sharing updates from our recent open boat expedition that had us across on the Western Isles. Returning clients had asked what can we do next?!
After a lot of research and a good recce of not only the route, but to the communities & places we would be journeying was done prior to running the first commercial departure.

We are confident in the trip, feedback has been amazing so here are the dates for 2027; August 23rd - 29th; 1 SPACE LEFT!

One thing that this year has brought to light most is seeing those who come on expedition with us, their passion growing when it’s shared with others around you. It doesn't have to be a big expedition, pick a place on a map and ask the question, Is that possible by canoe? We did just that.

We looked at lots of different types of kit, clothing & equipment on our recent Paddlesport Safety Rescue Course for staff at Loch Insh Outdoor Centre

One of my favourite courses to run, not solely for instructors, a great course for any paddler or individual who paddles recretionally.
