Today It's that time of year again when we take our young guns to Dunstable, for this year's South of England tournament.
Having a afternoon slot this year instead of the dreaded early 6am (Pamela 😂)
Myself and Pamela along with parents would like to wish our 4 Junior bowlers bowling today the best of luck🎳🤓

This morning saw our end of season Y.B.C league presentation.
This year again saw every bowler produce great achievements, new high games and new milestones. Mostly achieved with huge smiles and enjoyment. Myself the coaches and helpers couldn't be prouder of a

League winner went to Liam
League runner up was Cameron
League 3rd Jacob
High series H'Cap winner was Liam with a 662
High series H'Cap R'Up was Cameron with a 635.
High game H'Cap winner was Jacob with a 272
High game H'Cap R'Up was Liam with a 259.
Most improved player was Ben
Sportsman of the season was Jacob.
Daryl was awarded with a medal for his sheer enjoyment and enthusiasm.🎳
Not leaving out Sam,Luke and Ciaran who have been a large part of our season this year.
And also a huge thankyou to Pam who tirelessly runs everything 😘 also Thankyou to the committee and helpers without your support we couldn't run our league.🎳👏

Well the last game of the season has arrived this morning for our young Y.B.C bowlers at Rogue Bowling.
A much anticipated match between 1st and 2nd Liam and Cameron,Liam holding a slight lead.both started well producing Strikes🎳 and spares each...with Liam coming out on top. The 2nd/3rd game saw Liam use his experience to romp to victory and winning this year's league. A huge well done to Cameron👏 he often gave Liam a scare and kept with him.
Also a huge well done to Jacob who this season produced his highest game/series👏.
Young Ben has also produced his highest game this season👏.
Not forgetting Ciaran and Daryl who produce outstanding achievements whilst over coming difficulties👏🎳
Sam/Isaac and our newest bowler Luke hope to see you Join in our league this summer.
Myself 🤓 Pamela, Jackie,Lizzie,Colin would like to say a huge well done to everyone who's bowled we're proud of all your achievements this season. 👏🎳 not forget the parents/carers who continue to support us..👏🎳

Lizzie who helps me with Scoring and more importantly motivating the kids😘
Colin and Jackie who collect the money every Saturday morning.
Lastly Rogue and team who allow us to bowl every Saturday morning.
P.s over the next few weeks we're be having fun bowling until the new summer league schedules are done...👍👏🎳🤓

South of England update
After a very early Saturday morning start our young guns were pumped with excitement.They started very possitively especially under very testing lane conditions.
All bowled superbly achieving there averages.
A special shout out to Cameron who finally achieved to bowl his first Turkey and followed that up with a four bagger.🎳✋
Also Ben who bowled above his average and
managed a new high game of 173 with a 477 series.
A last mention to young Isaac who picked up the dreaded bowling blisters,he battled through the pain and showed great maturity 🎳🙌.
Jacob also bowled some fantastic scores and Jelled well with Ben in the Doubles.
Our two older bowlers Liam and Louie did what they do best and pass on there knowledgeable experience especially in the team event.👏👏🎳

South of England Junior Open ::

Tomorrow (A very early Saturday morning start 😫🎳) we again take our young warriors to Dunstable to take part in the 4th South of England Bowling tournament.
Firstly myself and our coaches would like to wish every bowler the best of luck, do your best and more importantly enjoy yourselves..more updates tomorrow .🤓🎳✋

This morning at Rogue YBC bowling we decided to bring back our Christmas Turkey Shoot out, with nice prises on offer Selection boxes for all plus pigs in blankets etc.We had a great turn out with everyone wearing Xmas jumpers.This follows our Winter KO where Liam over come a great effort from Ben to lift this year winter cup.

The semi-final didn't disappoint with some great strikes and spares,all four produced fantastic scores.
Result
Ben beat Isaac and Liam beat Jacob.
To set up a epic final
Ben being the under dog against the vastly more experienced Liam, Ben kept with Liam right till the end until Liam pulled ahead with a timely double to become this year's champion.
I'd like to say a huge thankyou to our committee who make these events possible, plus everybody who has stepped in when needed.
Also a shout out to Rouge leisure for there continued support.
