Check out bearbrookrunningclub.co.uk to find out how We are a friendly Running Club based in Aylesbury. We meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and some Fridays at Rivets Sports & Social Club not far from the town centre. We are a growing club with over 100 members and are always pleased to welcome new runners of any ability. Running groups meet most nights of the week and on Sunday mornings, so there should be something to suit you. We pride ourselves on being open and welcoming to new members of all ages and abilities - from those that have never run before to experienced marathon runners. We run because we love running, want to stay fit and enjoy running with others.

We're off and running in this season's Chiltern Cross Country League. Strong performances all round yesterday in Milton Keynes from a team mixed with many, many year's experience and some making their Chiltern League debuts.

It was 6th place on the day out of the 22 Division 2 clubs.

We're already looking forward to next month, when we can do it all over again in Oxford.

As the evenings get darker, Bearbrook has your evening runs covered!

We’ve got a great mix of social runs and interval sessions lined up for next week, whether you fancy a relaxed run with company, working on your speed or heading out onto the trails with a head torch.

📅 Here’s what’s coming up:
* Monday: Kingsbrook Social Road Run – 6:30pm
* Tuesday: Bedgrove Intervals for All – 7:00pm
* Wednesday: Aston Clinton Social Trail Head Torch Run – 6:30pm
* Friday: Kingsbrook Intervals for All – 6:30pm

This week, one of our groups headed out to explore the new path around RSPB Kingsbrook Meadows.

It’s great to see the area starting to take shape, and we can’t wait to watch it develop and grow over the next few years.

We have up to four weeknight group runs around Aylesbury and the surrounding area, with a great mix of social runs and interval sessions to keep things interesting.

Next week, we’ll be running from Bedgrove, Kingsbrook and Tring.

The Hardwick X-Stream is back! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Fancy something a little different from your usual road race? Join us on Sunday 18th October for 6 miles of challenging, ever-changing farmer’s fields around Hardwick.

Expect grass, ploughed fields, farm tracks, stream crossings, ditches… and quite possibly some mud!

As the evenings draw in and darkness arrives earlier, booooo! 😭, Bearbrook has you covered with evening group runs throughout the week. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

There’s a great mix of social runs and intervals to keep things varied, plus trail runs some Sunday’s, club races and social events throughout the year. There really is something for everyone!

So you don’t have to run in the dark alone. Come along, meet some other runners and try a few runs with us for free before deciding if you’d like to join. 🙌
