Here's the match report from the U11's match vs Haddenham on Sunday. The report was written by our captain for the day, 10 year old Dan Millburn.

Well done Alfred Cocking for his amazing bowling display with getting 2 wickets for five runs in his two overs.

Also a massive shout out to Luke Mead for getting a maiden in his second over and only conceding one run in bowling.

Aadit Walvekar and Luke Mead started our batting innings well by getting a total of five runs to get us getting started in our massive innings.

And the pair at the end finished up our innings well by getting 17 runs in four overs.

Also the whole team fielded well and bowled well by taking a total of three run outs out of eleven wickets.

And Ashvik Chilukuri bowled a brilliant ball to get his wicket and fully deserved the man of the match award with his amazing running between the wickets and his accurate bowling.

As captain I was proud of our team performance today and hopefully we can get the same result next match and for the rest of the season.

Another busy week!
Shout out to our U9s who despite the rain on Tuesday won against Wendover meaning they’ve won the league, well done guys!!

Then another softball game for the women against Stony Stratford with a comfortable win whilst listening to the excitement that turned out to be the lionesses!

Tonight we have our junior awards evening! Before the thunder hits.

Remember Sunday when it was hotter than the surface of the sun!?! Well this lot played their little cricket socks off! As a team of only 8 against a full 11 the fielders worked relentlessly to plug the gaps and keep scoring to a minimum. Several PBs out there too, batting and bowling.

Oxford Downs had a big hitter that scored her 100 (first for her too!) so that really racked up the target. To loose by 50 runs in those conditions was exceptional! Who knows what the result would have been with outfield plugging and a few more batting options!!
Superb ladies well done!

A sneaky mid week softball win for the women on Wednesday! Well done ladies!

1. Tom Maciewski from our first XI team gave out U15s some excellent fielding and bowling training! A fantastic link between junior and senior cricket!
2. The Women’s First XI won a good softball game against Chearsley.
3. The Women’s First XI also won 3 out of 4 matches as Wormsley softball festival.
4. The U9’s won at Bledlow with cookies to celebrate.

Huge shout out to the women’s team winning their game today! Especially to our very own Freya taking 81 not out!
