Good afternoon, all!!
As you know, we are raising money for Action Medical Research- a charity who aims to raise money and research for cures/treatments for babies and children with disabilities, rare diseases, and conditions, to save lives. We still have around £300 to raise and would like to keep you all active- increasing your health and fitness, while doing a really special thing!
We are holding a 5K run on 11th August (Sunday) at 12 midday from the Grand Junction Arms in Bulbourne, Tring. This event will be conducted similarly to Park Run- whereby you will be timed for a completion of 5km distance. The idea is to repeat the event 2 weeks later (25th August) to improve on your time, so it’s important that you practice in between!!! 😉 (Walking or running)
For those who do not want to run or be timed, please do still come along and join us for a walk and social or simply donate if you cannot attend personally.
This event will be £10 each- all money’s going straight into our fund raising pot for Action Medical Research- www.justgiving.com/johngunn2024

Aylesbury based Level 2 Fitness Instructor/aspiring Personal Trainer required for fitness class cover.
It is essential you hold an up-to-date First Aid Certificate, be fully insured and hold the necessary fitness qualifications.
• Must be professional, smartly presented with an appropriate fitness level.
• Must be able to communicate in an effective and efficient manner and be able to respond to client needs during and after a session.
• Must be confident in delivering a fun, diverse Circuit/Bootcamp/Boxfit class with understanding of medical and physical restrictions and varied client needs/abilities.
You will gain a diverse client experience in a private studio, supported by two experienced Personal trainers.
There will be potential for ongoing support and mentorship for your career with potential for long term work within One Fitness.

Hello 2021! 🤪
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!
I'm sure lots of you have set some New Years Resolutions and that's fantastic! My question to you...'How long does it last?'
That question may seem very negative, but it doesn't have to be! We have all set NY resolutions before and they tend to disappear after a week or so and we feel like we failed! That doesn't have to be the case for 2021! We have all dealt with different things in 2020 with COVID being the centre of most of it. Should it stop us moving forward and achieving?
We all have goals-We all have hopes, desires, wishes, ambitions for 2021 and beyond. What can we do short term/straight away to start working towards them? We often make a statement of 'I want to lose ??stones/run a marathon/climb a mountain/find a new hobby (the list is endless) but what are we going to do to get there?
The trick to finding and keeping motivation to achieve that end goal is in what we do NOW! What we will do tomorrow and next week!
Set short term goals regularly. Work towards achieving them- tick them off and make some more! Smaller achievable goals = greater sense of achievement = even better results and that long term goal gets closer- until we have achieved it and make another !
This year is yours...take it and make it the best you can for YOU. Whatever your long term goals are, break it down- and work for it.
The only regret is not getting started.

I am Heather- Personal Trainer and qualified Midwife with an advanced nutritional advisor certificate.

I wanted to introduce myself 👋 and just let you ladies know that I am running small group 6 week personal training programs (up to 4 per group). One for pregnancy (>12 weeks gestation) and one for the postnatal period (>6 weeks postnatal). *Both of these programs include a home workout and nutrition guide!

These group sessions will be held once per week, during the afternoon, in a private studio in Aylesbury (days and times to be confirmed). This is a great way to meet other mums /mums to be, while taking steps to improving health and fitness safely with a Personal trainer/Midwife!
