Ams win 2-1 away to Cumbernauld athletic in the west.

Started game really bright today and got early goal from OG that boy had to make or Liam had a tap it.

Only disappointment after 30 mins was we weren’t out of sight.

Conceded just before HT and turned into a cup tie

Joe white put us infront with a header and we held on for the win.

Good luck to opponents for the season.

Manager: played some nice football early on, was pleased as it was a tricky grass pitch.

Frustrated not to score more and after they scored we had to battle for a while, credit to boys tho they have been battling and seeing our results well,

We have more quality to show and it will be needed going forward.

Ams win on pens to reach 1/4 of Ayrshire cup.

Found ourselves 2-0 down from an energetic beith side.

Striker for today Oconnor made it 2-1 with a lob over keeper.

HT 2-1 and a change of shape seen us create loads of clear chances unfortunately never took Any until Oconnor got his 2nd of the game to make it 2-2.

At 2-2 the game was end to end and beith thought they had made it 3-2 with 10 to go, handball in the move tho and game fizzled out 2-2.

Lottery of pens.

Steven saved the first with a great hand low to his right, he then saved the 2nd but Ref deemed he was off the line.

Boys stayed calm and won the game.

Manager: hard to fault them today beith were a good test, after going 2-0 down boys dug in and deserved to get back into the game, a little frustrating we never took some of our clear chances but attitude and workrate was there today.

Credit to beith tho we knew going into game this would be a tough 1 today and it certainly was.

Good luck to them for the season.

Ams win 3-2 to progress to the next round of the west of Scotland cup,

Nathan chambers put us in front with a great bit of individual play,

We then gifted a hard working wishaw a goal from a defensive mixup.

HT 1-1

2nd half we were off it between 45-55mins, changes made and a welcome return to mcfall after a long injury,

Straight away we seen the difference and raced to a 3-1 lead, moving ball well, and Sam controlling the game.

Firstly an excellent volley from OcOnnor from 20yards then a great team goal down the right had side,
Euan Cormican and Dan Forster linked up well to set hall up for a tidy finish.

Mcfall then seen red for a 2nd booking and we conceded another poor goal with 7mins to play,

Last minute a great save from cammy Taylor who stepped in today in the absence of Stevo,

Manager: good possession of the ball today but need to be more clinical, not like us at the back today we gifted 2 goals and a few more chances.

Boys dug in tho and scored 3 really good goals

Massive credit to Cammy Taylor who played in goals, came off line well and made excellent save at the end.

Good luck to wishaw and all the best lads. Great bunch of boys and worked hard all game.
