⚽ Match Report | Cambusdoon Colts 1–2 Whitletts Vics

A competitive game at Millbrae with very little between the two sides.

After a slow start from the boys, Whitletts took the lead midway through the first half with a goal that was avoidable from our side, as we failed to clear our lines.

The Colts responded well and grew into the game, putting together some really nice passing moves and looking the better team for the remainder of the first half.

The second half was fairly even, with the Colts creating some good opportunities and continuing to show plenty of perseverance. That persistence finally paid off with around five minutes remaining, as a nice passing move was finished off by Riley Campbell for his third goal of the season. 👏⚽

Whitletts grabbed the winner in the final couple of minutes with a good move and a fine finish — and it had to be, with Lewis Taylor having been excellent throughout the half. 🧤👏

Plenty of positives to take from the performance. The message to the boys was to keep the heads up and be proud of your efforts.

⚽ Match Report | West Kilbride 2–4 Cambusdoon Colts ⚽

A fantastic away performance from the boys today as the boys came from 2–1 down at half time to win 4–2 against West Kilbride on a difficult pitch.

It was a competitive game from start to finish, with the boys showing great determination, commitment and some excellent tackling. It was brilliant to see them battling for every ball and never giving up, especially after going into half time behind.

Riley Campbell opened the scoring with a lovely finish after a great through ball from Rhys Dickie.

Riley grabbed his second with a goal of the season contender! A fantastic free kick straight into the top corner. 🚀

Riley was involved again for the third, doing brilliantly to set up Oliver Gilmour, who produced a composed left-foot finish into the bottom corner.

Once again Riley was the provider for the fourth, setting up Oscar Rice who made no mistake with a good finish to seal the win.

A brilliant team effort and a well-deserved result. Plenty of character shown by the boys today! 👏💪
