The match at port Logan was a wash out with w**d every chuck made fishing impossible while you were standing in the surf. Decided to move the match to Terally bay.

Shane got a new club record a red mullet at 11ozs.

2nd S Wilson with 2 fish for 66 pts

This is Shane's fish after it was landed and weighed in at 5lbs 2ozs.

We had some bait left over from the match and as the local beaches were not producing we decided to try fishing a bit further a field. This turned out to be a good move for Shane as it produced a nice fish of 5lbs 2ozs which was photographed weighed then released to fight another day.

This match was fished over 3 hours as it was a hard match with lots of w**d in the water so well done guys for fishing throu the w**d. Not many sized fish about just some under sized ones. the local matches do not seem to be fishing well compaired to last year. I fished with fresh ragworm just dug off the beach and peeler crab and manged 2 flounders 1 sized and one undersized.

This match was a better one as the results will show. Shane could do no wrong with fish after fish. There were some nice fish caught best fish was a Pollack at 43cm and Shane's best fish a coalie at 43cms. Lost a few fish at the edge of the water and a nice wrasse at least 2lbs.

2nd J Wilson with 6 fish for 207pts.

This shore match was fished in calm weather. The fish took a some time to appear but the small fish kept you busy till you had a chance of some bigger ones being caught.

1st S Wilson with 11 fish for 361pts
2nd J Wilson with 8 fish for 247pts

Added some species to the species hunt too.

The first match of the year did not get off to a good start. Only a few fish were caught as the results will show.

1st J Wilson with 2 fish for 121pts.

2nd S Wilson with 1 fish for 69pts.

The 3 hour shore match last night did not go any better as the guys fished through the rain showers and wind with only one fish being caught.

We fished the match at loch Etive and upon arriving at the mark it was already being fished. I have never seen so many people fishing Etive at this time of year. We fished 3 hours up with some bites and no hook ups until the tide turned

The last summer league match was won by Iain with 3 fish for 102pts. Well done, Iain other members were only able to catch pin whiting and coalies at 19cms. As soon as the baits hit the water, they were attacking the bait. All week the winds blow up the night of the match flat calm sea .
