What a week! With one day to go on our warm weather camp in Albir, Spain, we wanted to thank for all their help in the lead up to and during our camp!

The swimmers have had a ball and worked really hard in the pool... And we've got our finisher set first thing in the morning 💪

The support from and the team at Albir, in the hotel and at the pool, has been first class!

Happy camp birthday to Byron! We hope you've had a great day in the sun with all your favourite people!

Today saw 36 of our swimmers travel to Spain for our warm weather training camp! We are here for a week as part of our early season preparation and have had a great first day, with a quick paddle to loosen off after a long day of travel.

A massive thanks to our team managers, Alison and Meaghan, for all their work so far!

Thanks go to our sponsors, DigiPharma, for their continued support of our club and our swimmers! DigiPharma is a United Kingdom-based health technology company that provides an AI-driven clinical consultation software platform designed for community pharmacy teams and prescribers. Thanks to and the team here in Albir for all their help and support so far. The new facilities at the hotel are fantastic and we can't wait for the rest of the week!

This weekend has seen a number of our swimmers race at the Cumbernauld Autumn Graded Meet!

It has been great to see our swimmers get the opportunity to race with some brilliant performances and improvements on show!

It was also great to see the support of each other (especially with some of our younger swimmers doing their first 200m Butterfly!).

Day 2 has just started, good luck to everyone that is racing today and well done to the team for yesterday! A massive thanks to Emma and Kelly for their support of our swimmers over the weekend.

This weekend also sees the West District team race at the National County Team Championships in Sheffield! We have Jamie raving as part of the team and will be racing the 12-13 Boys 100 Fly this afternoon as well as a relay! Good luck Jamie 💪💪💪

South Ayrshire Swim Team (SAST) – Come and Try Sessions 2026

The next SAST Come and Try Session is now available to sign up to!

We are looking to grow our Transition and Development Squads and our upcoming Come and Try Session is aimed at welcoming new swimmers to the club.

These sessions are specifically for swimmers aged 10 and under (at the start of 2026) who are competent across all four swimming strokes (Butterfly not essential) and comfortable in deep water.

If swimmers are in South Ayrshire Council's Learn to Swim program, we will consider swimmers in Skills 4 or above.

Our next 'Come and Try Session' will take place on:
Tuesday 20th October 2026, 7.00-8.00pm @ Citadel, Ayr

To sign up, please click here:

We had a huge team at the Ayrshire Sportsability Gala at the Galleon in Kilmarnock yesterday.

There were lots of smiles before hand and even more bling after the meet! Some brilliant performances even with the back to back racing each of the swimmers experienced!

Well done swimmers!
