On behalf of Faizal's family:
Dear all, just a small thank you from Omar and I for your efforts in attending today's celebration of Dad's life. He would have been so touched to see so many of his 'Chatsworth Family' present who have played a huge part in our lives also.
With thanks once more.
Best wishes
Imran and Omar

This how Ben & Oliver felt this morning after completing the bike challenge (fastest time to burn 50 calories) in this months knockout competition.
Both gave it their all and produced some impressive times.
WELL DONE both πͺπ

It is with heavy hearts we inform you of the death of our first ever member at Chatsworth Gymnasium.
Many of you will have encountered Faizal whether that be chatting all things cricket, a sport that he was hugely passionate about, as a training buddy in the gym or where he adored to spend time - in the sauna.
His adored boys would love you to attend his commemoration if you are able.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

Our fantastic 'artist in residence' has spent hours producing this months gym challenge for our members to take part in.
Week one's knockout is well under way with some impressive scores on the board already.
The challenges are:
How long can you hold a one leg dead lift position.
How far can you sit and reach?
How fast can you burn 50 calories on the bike?
How long can you 'hang' from the assisted pull up machine?
How many meters can you row in 2 minutes.
Only 9 days until the World Cup starts β½οΈ

π Water Safety Matters π
With more people spending time in, on and around water, it's a good time to remind ourselves of some simple but important safety advice.
Water can look calm and inviting, but open water is very different from a swimming pool. Even in warm weather, water temperatures can remain surprisingly cold, and hidden hazards such as currents, sudden depth changes, weeds and debris can quickly cause difficulties.
A few important reminders:
π¦ Never swim alone
π¦ Children should always be supervised around water
π¦ Choose lifeguarded locations where possible
π¦ If you see someone in difficulty, call 999 and seek help β don't enter the water yourself
π¦ If you get into trouble, try to stay calm, float on your back and call for help
At Chatsworth Health Club, water safety is something we regularly discuss and practise with our swimmers. Learning how to stay safe in and around water is just as important as learning how to swim.
Please take a moment to share this message with family and friends.
Stay safe and look out for one another π
