INTRODUCING THE BALDOCK TOWN YOUTH COUNCIL

We’re giving our players a voice.

Baldock Town Youth FC is launching a Youth Council — an opportunity for players to represent their age groups, share ideas, and help shape the future of our club.

This isn’t just about football.

It’s about leadership. Confidence. Responsibility. Community.

We want young people who:
⚽ Care about their team
💬 Have ideas to improve the club
🌟 Want to make a difference beyond the pitch

Youth Council members will:
• Represent their age group
• Share feedback and ideas
• Support club initiatives and events
• Help improve the player experience across the club

Our Girls Wildcats sessions are open to girls aged 5–11 and are all about:

Football
Friendship
Confidence
Fun
Making new friends

Whether you have never kicked a football before or already love the game, everyone is welcome!

There’s no pressure, no need to be the best and no focus on winning — just a safe, positive environment where girls can play, have fun, build confidence and enjoy football together.

A 3–0 defeat for the Women on Sunday, but the scoreline really doesn’t reflect the performance.

A great effort from the whole team, with some really positive football, plenty of hard work and everyone battling right to the final whistle.

There’s so much to build on with this newly formed team, and performances like today show just how far they’re already coming together.

Our Baldock Town U10 Girls are ready for the new season and would love to welcome a few more players to the squad!

We’re looking for girls starting Year 5 in September who want to enjoy football, build their confidence and make new friends as part of a supportive team.

Whether she already loves playing or has never kicked a ball before, she’ll be made to feel welcome. It’s all about learning, having fun and enjoying football together!

ONE FINAL SPACE IN OUR U12 GIRLS TEAM!

Our established Baldock Town U12 Girls team is looking for one more player to complete the squad for the new season.

We’re looking for a committed player starting Year 7 in September who is keen to train, play regular matches and become part of a friendly and supportive team.

The girls already have a brilliant team spirit and are excited to welcome one more teammate into the group!

All abilities are welcome—attitude, enthusiasm and a love of football are what matter most.

*WEEKEND ROUND-UP*

Another busy weekend of football for our Baldock Town Youth teams!

⚽ *U8 Knights*
A tough loss for the Knights this weekend against strong opposition. Another game under their belts and more valuable experience gained as a team. Keep going!

⚽ *U8 Crusaders*
The Crusaders also faced a difficult fixture this weekend and came away with a loss. Plenty more minutes on the pitch and opportunities to keep learning and developing together.

⚽ *U9 Lancers*
A fantastic win for the Lancers against IMI Academy U10 Vix! A brilliant performance from the team — well done!

⚽ *U9 Templars*
A really good, competitive game for the Templars, who came away with a well-deserved win. Great performance!

⚽ *U10 Templars*
A fantastic win against LGCE Blacks, sealed with a dramatic last-minute winner! A great result against a really good team.

⚽ *U10 Knights*
Another win for the Knights after a brilliant performance against Shefford Saints. They dominated the first half and played some fantastic football throughout.

⚽ *U11 Crusaders*
A much-improved performance despite the loss to Shefford. The Crusaders took the lead for the first time this season, created some really good chances and showed lots of positive progre

⚽ U9 Swifts*
A loss for our U9s this weekend, but another important game for this newly formed team as they continue their first season together.

⚽ *U10 Swifts*
Our U10s also came away with a loss this weekend. More valuable match experience for the girls as they continue to grow and develop as a team.

⚽ *U11 Swifts*
A great weekend for our U11s, who came away with another win!

⚽ *U12 Swifts*
A loss for the U12s this weekend as they continue adjusting to competitive 9-a-side football. Plenty to take away from the game and work on at training.

⚽ *U18 Swifts*
A loss for our U18s this weekend, but another game under their belts as the season gets underway.

A huge well done to everyone who pulled on a Baldock shirt this weekend. Win or lose, it’s fantastic to see so many of our teams out there playing, developing and representing the club.
