🏆✨ WE’RE FINALISTS! ✨🏆

We are absolutely delighted to share some very special news…

Innovate Gymnastics Club has been selected as a finalist for the 2026 Scottish Gymnastics Club of the Year Award! ❤️🖤

This is something we genuinely never expected, and to be recognised alongside some of the incredible gymnastics clubs across Scotland is a huge honour.

What makes this even more special is that the nomination was made secretly by a group of our amazing parents. We had absolutely no idea it was happening, which made receiving the news that we had been shortlisted even more of a surprise! 🥹❤️

This recognition means so much because Innovate has always been about more than gymnastics. It’s about creating a positive, welcoming environment where children can build confidence, develop new skills, make friends, challenge themselves and feel proud of what they achieve.

A huge thank you to every gymnast, parent, coach, helper and supporter who has contributed to making Innovate what it is today. Our club is built by our people, and we are incredibly proud of the community we have created together. ❤️🖤

Whatever happens on the night, being named a finalist is something we will celebrate and remember for a very long time! 🏆

✨ Ever wondered how our gymnastics classes are structured? ✨

There is so much more planning behind each session than simply setting up the equipment! 🤸‍♀️

At Innovate Gymnastics Club, our classes are carefully structured to help every gymnast develop, progress and enjoy their time with us. ❤️🖤

🔴 4-Week Goals

We work towards a specific goal on each piece of apparatus over a 4-week period. This allows gymnasts to work consistently and progressively on their skills, giving them the time and opportunity to properly develop, practise and build confidence before moving on.

⚫ Carefully Planned Sessions

Our coaches submit weekly lesson plans and regularly share ideas with one another to continually develop our sessions and ensure classes remain fun, engaging and progressive for all gymnasts.

🔴 Coach In-Service Training & Development

We also regularly bring our coaching team together for in-service training, where we work collaboratively, share ideas and learn from one another.

These sessions give our coaches the opportunity to discuss class delivery, skill progressions, station ideas and coaching techniques, helping us to continually develop and improve the experience we provide for our gymnasts. ❤️🖤

⚫ More Than Just the Main Station

For each piece of apparatus being used during your child’s class, you’ll also see up to 4 carefully selected side stations.

These stations are designed to support the main skill or goal being worked on and may focus on things such as:

✨ Strength
✨ Shapes and body positions
✨ Flexibility
✨ Technique
✨ Skill preparation and progression

Not only do these stations support your child’s overall development, but they also allow gymnasts to remain active and continuously working throughout the session.

🔴 Coaches Where They’re Needed Most

Our coaches will usually position themselves at the trickier or more challenging stations, where gymnasts may need additional support, spotting or more detailed coaching points.

This helps us ensure that every child receives valuable feedback, encouragement and coaching throughout their class, regardless of the level they are currently worki

✨ Week 2 of competitions and our first tumble competition of the season! ✨

Almost every single one of our gymnasts moved up a level for this competition, meaning lots of new challenges, plenty of nerves, and stepping outside of their comfort zones! 🤸‍♀️💪

But they all did incredibly and we are so proud of every single one of them. To top it all off, we came away with a medal in every category we entered! 🤩🏅

OCTOBER CAMPS 2026🍁🍂

Back by popular request!!! We are super exciting to be hosting our fifth year for October camps at Balfron Campus!

These are 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 and will be on a first come first serve basis. Please get in touch via Facebook messenger or email to book. Spaces are limited so get in touch to avoid any disappointment.

The camps will run on the following days;
Wednesday the 14th of October (Balfron)
Thursday the 15th of October (Balfron)

The camps will run from 9-3pm each of the days with the option to book for the full day or for a half day (9-12pm). Camps will cost £30 for a full day or £16.50 for a half day.

Please note that regular classes will be off during the October holidays.

We can’t wait to see the kids on camp. We have some incredible activities planned and it will be an excellent week for all. Further information on what to bring etc will be communicated to those who book ✉️❤️🖤

🏅 JUST LOOK AT THOSE MEDALS! 🏅

Every single one of our gymnasts who competed yesterday came home with a medal… and honestly, I have no words! 😭🤩

Our first ever Scottish Classic Floor & Vault competition as a club and we have come away with an incredible 26 MEDALS! 🏆💙

We couldn’t be prouder of the gymnasts who showed such incredible composure, team spirit, professionalism and determination throughout the whole competition. Every single one of you represented Innovate brilliantly!

And behind every one of those medals is hours of training, planning and coaching. A huge thank you to our amazing coaches for working with these gymnasts week after week to prepare them, and for supporting and coaching them on the day. 💙

Coach Sasha is out of the gym this weekend as she heads to the Special Olympics GB National Summer Games to cheer on and support her brother, Andrew, who is competing in gymnastics! 🤸‍♂️

What an incredible experience and such a special weekend for the whole family. We’ll be cheering you on from afar, Andrew, and wishing you the biggest good luck from everyone at Innovate! 🤩💙
