Ballymena LTC Senior Member Weronika Slawinska selected for Ulster Masters Team

Congratulations to club senior member Weronika Slawinska who has been selected to play in the Ulster Team at the Masters' interprovincial championships in Lansdowne Dublin on the 28th and 29th August.

Director of Coaching Barry Clarke stated,

“This is a wonderful achievement for Weronika and also the club.

Weronika has been part of Ballymena LTC from her primary school years and continues to represent Ballymena at league level, even while living in Belfast. This shows her commitment to the club and town.

I have had the pleasure of training and playing with her and against her, throughout our time in juniors and now seniors.

I’ve also experienced first hand her wonderful ability at being a role model for junior girls coming up over the years at the club as a coach.

It’s a lovely full circle moment to now have the chance to coach and develop her game, I can see first hand the work she is putting in, to give a strong performance at the Masters.

On behalf of all at Ballymena LTC we would like to wish Weronika all the best, we know she will give it her all, like she always does when on court”
