Celebrating 10 years of giving everything to something so special, to celebrate with everyone last night was amazing. To get a chance to say thank you to Gordy for everything he’s done for me, to get recognition for the hard work put in over the years and to have Abby up on the stage with me getting her much deserved recognition.. unbelievable.
Thank you again GEHQ GYM Open 24/7 for everything ❤️

If you want to learn how to get stronger, fitter, and move better than you ever have before, this is for you.
The problem with most programmes is they only focus on one piece of the puzzle.
We get strong as a bull… but stiff as a poker.
We get fit as a fiddle… but weak as water.
Or we go through our yoga or Pilates era and get more flexible, but never really get stronger, fitter, or more capable in everyday life.
Just to be clear, I’m not knocking any of these approaches.
I actually use and enjoy all of them myself.
That’s the point.
Over the last 10 years I’ve spent my career learning how to combine strength training, cardio and mobility into one simple system.
Because I believe the healthiest people as they get older aren’t the strongest, fittest or most mobile…
They’re the people who have all three.
For me, that means:
💪 Strong enough to carry myself well and handle whatever life throws at me.
🏃 Fit enough to keep up with my son, run a business and still have energy left at the end of the day.
🤸 Mobile enough to do the things I enjoy without feeling broken afterwards.
I don’t want to need three days to recover from a walk on the beach, a game with Lochlán or a night on the dance floor with 😂
That’s why my coaching is built around three pillars:
✔ Strength
✔ Fitness
✔ Mobility
You can have all three.
Most people simply haven’t been shown how.
If you’d like me to do the thinking for you, send me a DM with the word HEALTH.
Train smarter, not just harder.

This right here 👆 is everything I stand for and bursts me with pride. Having my family both in my place of work, seeing me exercise and watching Lochlán want to get involved and play too.
Setting an example for him is all I want to do in life, look after your family and your own health and work hard for them every single day
The cherry on the cake is watching him grow in confidence, knowing his colours (and BSL signs) and us being able to enjoy these small moments we once didn’t think we may ever have
It may not seem like much but it’s a big deal to us ❤️
My boy 🦸♂️
Here’s one final note; exercise is supposed to be fun, if you don’t have some play in it and it’s always serious, maybe you’re missing something.. if your a parent on your own fitness journey, make sure to include the little ones otherwise you may miss out on the whole point of it 💭

Wholesome Sundays with the family 🌳 🧺
I love nothing more than days like this, being out in the fresh air with a picnic and exploring the and Lochlán
I know I’ve talked about it a lot recently but it’s something that keeps coming up in conversation at work with clients especially coming into the better weather, parents dreading moments like this because of things like not being able to explore due to bad knees or bad backs.
Hoping the wains don’t need carried, simple things we shouldn’t have to think about but more and more lost opportunities and memories due to pain limitations. To quote “I couldn’t carry my son up and down them steps my knees would go”
I think we have a duty of responsibility as parents to be fit strong and capable to carry our children when their legs get tired to be that parent who’s fun, present and wants to do these fun things and make the memories and not saying “daddy’s tired son”
This is just my opinion.. but it’s something I hear a lot of.
The thing is it doesn’t have to be this way, and it’s not as hard as you think! If this triggers you in any way, let me know and I’ll happily talk you through it

Behind the scenes win 👏
came to me after a post resonated with her, we got a chat discussed what was wrong and invited her in for a walk through. Quickly identified what the issue was set her some “homework” and the rest is history. She’s now back doing what she loves and wants to do and is educated that when lifes niggles and curveballs comes up she is confident in her body and knows how to come out the other side. Job done ✅
This is what I love, getting people who are stuck back to where they want to be, and this was all done remotely 🙌
Feeling stuck? Tired spinning your wheels to no avail, get in touch to see how we can get you over the line too.
Happy Sunday 😎

What a weekend spent with the team at for the lower limb intensive course. Met some incredible people from all over the world, got over my fear of imposter syndrome and was made to feel right at home that was my big win 🥇
Coming away with knowledge that I can apply right away to make me a better coach but mainly to make my clients better is invaluable and i genuinely cant wait to get back to work 🙌
Thank you for the opportunity, the craic and the grub wasn’t bad either 🙌😂
Until next time 🤝

One of the most interesting things I learned about running the marathon was that I am more robust than I once thought 💭
A year ago I suffered a full patella dislocation and torn MCL, I worked on it and got myself back on my feet and even though I knew I had done the work required there was always the small voice (and my family’s 🤦♂️😂 ) saying “you better watch them knees boy”
Since Sunday the first question I kept getting asked is “well are you naw while sore, I suppose your knees are goosed”
Honestly, that wasn’t even a factor, my body held up fine even after a speed wobble around mile 18 🙈😂
And the thing is, that resilience wasn’t built in the last few months of prep, or the miles in training that was the last few years working on my strength, building strong robust joints looking after my mobility and ability to recover and the proof was in the pudding, I survived 5 hours of constant impact on my joints and running a lot heavier than I probably should have been 🤦♂️
but I was able to do it, carry my son back to the car and get back to work in the gym with no issues.
That’s my real flex, not that I ran it all (totally proud of myself) but more so of the work I’ve done to build a body capable of such things without breaking, now that’s an accomplishment 🙌

Pack picked up with the team and a reminder of why I agreed to do this in the first place. Raising awareness for all the deaf children of NI and my biggest hero my son Lochlán 🧏
Raising funds for by putting myself through torture 😂 I’m not a runner, never will be never claimed to be but if I can show up tomorrow and cross the finish line I’ll have proved to my son you can do anything you put your mind to, and to myself that I can still do hard things you just need the right inspiration.
Good luck to everyone tomorrow, just remember to smile!
Last minute donations welcome 🙏
