Vacancy: Cleaner – Job Share

We currently have a position available for a Cleaner at Balmedie Leisure Centre.
This is a job-share position, with hours negotiable. The role will include working one weekend day.

We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and conscientious person to help maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the centre. Duties will include cleaning and maintaining areas such as:
* Sports halls
* Bathrooms
* Fitness room
* General leisure centre facilities

Training will be provided, and previous cleaning experience is not essential, although it would be preferred.
If you are reliable, take pride in your work and would like to join our team, we would be happy to hear from you.

Our fun and engaging group is held at the leisure centre and is led by fully qualified, caring staff. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can build confidence, learn routines and structure, develop social skills, and make new friends before spreading their wings and starting nursery.

We are fortunate to have a large, secure outdoor area where children love to explore, play, look for birds, and discover bugs in nature. Indoors, we offer a variety of activities including fine motor skill development, arts and crafts, imaginative play, and much more.

Session times:
📅 Monday & Tuesday: 10:00am – 12:00 noon

📅 Thursday & Friday: 10:00am – 12:00 noon

👀 SHOULD WE GO BIGGER?! 👀

Our Vinted-style event at Balmedie Leisure Centre is getting closer (this Sunday), and we’ve been having a little think… 💭🛍️

At the moment, we have the main room booked but what would everyone think about us hiring the other room too? 🙌

This would mean:
✨ A little more space for our current stall holders
✨ More room for everyone to browse
✨ Space for another 10 stalls! 🛍️

The only thing is… if we hire the extra room, we’d be looking for another 10 stall holders to fill it! 👀

So, what do you guys think? Should we go bigger? And more importantly… would anyone be interested in taking one of the extra spaces? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️
