Usbk round 6 bishopscourt

Qualifying ⏱️
Was happy with how qaulifying went straight away setting a new pb of 1:14.519 putting me 6th in the cup and 23rd in the pro

Race 1
Going into race 1 confident, I set a new goal of a 1:12 πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ and came very close to hitting it straight away but not quite, but another new pb of 1:13.156 finishing in p6 in the cup and 17th in the pro a good start to the weekend so far πŸ‘ŒπŸ

Race 2
Starting position changed this time I ended up starting 17th but with a terrible start I was last going into the first turn πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈI then had alot of work to do to get back to where I was. With a strong 1st lap I managed to get by a good few lads and then had a gap to close I managed to claw back up to 19th and 5th in the cup πŸ†πŸ

Warmup
Onto the next day I went out in warmup after making a few changes to suspension and felt good on the bike ready for day 2 πŸ’ͺ

Race 3
Grid positions changed again this time I started from 22nd got a decent start and managed to get round a couple of lads, not giving up on the goal I had set for the weekend, I managed a good couple of clean laps setting another new pb of 1:12.907 πŸ‘Œ
More than happy with that I took it home in 6th in the cup and 16th in the pro 🀩🏁

Race 4
Last race of the weekend tires r near enough scrap but it was still a good race, I started off in 19th got an alright start and had a couple of tank slappers the race was cut short with a red flag I ended up 5th in the cup and 12th in the pro πŸ€ͺ🏁

Great weekend getting the hang of bishopscourt dropping 3.5 seconds off my lap time gathered some solid points in the chmapionship

Wouldnt be possible without all these great people around me thanks to

Today was a ride with a difference for me on my race bike as we escorted James Walsh on his last trip home. It was lovely to see so many there to pay their respects to and give James the send off he deserved. Thoughts and prayers to all the family and friends. Gone but never forgotten #87 πŸ’”πŸ

Round 5 usbk kirkistown

Qualifying
Qaulifying went well I qualified 5th in the cup class and 16th in the pros with a 1:00.050 which was just .05 away from my goal for the whole day i was happy with that and ready for race 1

Race 1
I went really well in this race bar a couple of stupid mistakes like taking a false nuetral going into the chicane sending me over the grass but other than that it was a steady performance and i managed to finish 6th in the cup and 14th in the pros with a new pb of 59.967 which i was over the moon with its been a goal of mine for a long time to get into the 59s

Race2
Race 2 was a good one but lonely as i had a 4 second gap to the person behind me and a 4 seconds gap to the people infront of me leaving me 5th in the cup and 13th in the pro which a was pleased with not breaking into the 59s this time as i think the tire pressures were a bit off

Overall it was a good day the weather stayed dry and i managed a new pb which was the overall goal as 2 rounds ago my pb was still a 1:01

Id like to thank everyone that came and helped me out and made the day run as smoothly as it did

Round 4 usbk kirkistown

What a rollercoaster🫣

Qaulifying
Not much to write here as I crashed on the out lap because the track was like an ice rink, and I was on brand new tires which left me starting at the back of the B race.

Race 1 πŸ₯ˆ
This was fun I started 22nd on the grid, and wanted to see just how far I could get up for any sort of championship points. I got a terrible start, but I fighting back in the first turn. I managed to get round 9 riders in that corner and 2 in the next corner, I was definitely on a mission to get to the front as fast as possible. I managed to fight my way to 2nd place from 22nd I was over the moon with that, also having the fastest lap of the race which left me starting on pole for race 2, what a race πŸ’ͺ

Race 2 p2πŸ₯ˆ
The battle in this race left everyone watching on the edge of their seats. I got off to yet another bad start leaving me in 5th into the first turn, I managed to fight to 2nd in the first lap, then taking the lead in the 3rd lap. I pulled a second of a gap, delighted with this byut it was short lived. I was reeled in by 2nd place then leaving us in a very interesting battle for 1st place. Myself and Christian were side by side into turn one, I decided I was not going to let off that throttle and lose out on the win, so I slammed the door and was hunted down in the last corner to lose 1st place as I thought Christian had outbraked himself and was certainly running wide but my mistake and poor judgement, he got it turned and I ended that race in p2, but happy enough with that and really enjoyed the battle with Christian. Well done lad πŸ‘Œ

Overall the day could have been worse after the crash in qaulifying but I was glad to get back on the bike although setting any sort of lap in qaulifying would have been a massive help, and also a massive thanks to Ian and Kia from IMR for getting the bike ready and their brilliant work in giving me the best set up possible, πŸ‘Œ

Thanks to all who came to support me and help me throughout the day

Round 3 usbk

Qualifying didnt go to plan as i missed out on the pros being faster than the last 3 pro riders dont know how that makes sense but awell putting me pole on supersport cup with a lap time i was not happy with at all later we find out why

Race 1
For the first race lining up first 600 and 3rd overall against the superbikes got a decent start off the line but the bike was missing the grunt so i rode on for 3 laps managing to take the lead and hold off doing 1:16 still not happy with that but the race was red flagged due to a crash at the last corner

Race 1 restart
This was an absolute nightmare with the club suddenly changing how the wanted to run the starting procedure not letting anyone know so i jumpstarted not knowing what was going on i look behind me to see a few other riders had alos jump started so that being said i thought a restart was due but apparently not but out of a handful of riders i was the only one to get penalised for the jump start which then lead to more problems mid race with the bike not going over 100mph and losing all my ground on the straight after a review with some people who had their heads screwed on that day my penalty was lifted (very thankful for that) leaving me 4th with bike problems

Race 2 dnf
Race 2 absolute nightmare iv had farts pull harder than my 600 did in this race we then discovered after i had pulled in the fuel pump was well done so got 2 laps and called it a day before i made anything worse

Overall not the best day for myself with alot holding me back but ill take it on the chin and move on hopefully get the bike sorted for the next round and be back to normal pace for myself

Big thanks to

USBK Round 2 kirkistown

Qaulifying
Starting the day off with a high i qualified 3rd in supersport cup which put me in the pros sitting 19th on the grid with a 1:01.7 with was already a pb to start the day i was happy with the time but i knew i had more there so a few changes were made with supsension and a new rear tire for race 1

Race 1
Starting race 1 i got the start i needed and came round on the first few laps in 2nd fighting for a podium also setting a new pb lap time of 1:00.8 however it wasnt enough to hold 2nd place i lost rhe fight on the straights everytime surviving off late braking and corner speed i dropped back to 4th place and brought it home a bit bummed out but i was close

Race 2
Couple of stupid mistakes couldnt keep the front wheel down off the start and was 4th i held it for the majority of my race which was then cut short with the bike losing power so an investigation to go in now to see what the problem was and get ready for round 3

It was a good round and it wouldnt of been possible without the help i was given by
Gerald Larkin
Michael Larkin
Tina Drake
David McAuley

And a big thanks to brian from crossover motorpsorts for the help with finding where i can find every little bit of time definitely recommend to anyone who feels like they have more in the tank i can assure u brian will find u the time ur missing

Round 3 here we come 🏁🏁
