IRISH CUP DAY;

Today marks Round 2 of the Irish Cup, where our A Team will be taking on their fellow NIBA side, Sydenham, in the third of a string of competitive matches with the Belfast team. Aiming to further our Irish Cup campaign, it is sure to be a great day of competitive bowls once again!

NIBA Cup Results;

Last night both our 'A' and 'B' teams had excellent away wins in the NIBA Senior and Junior Cups respectively.

Banbridge 'A' travelled to Sydenham where they faced last year's NIBA Senior Cup winners. A competitive game from the start, Banbridge 'A' pulled away to win on all rinks. They now face Bangor at home in the Semi-Final in a fortnight.

Banbridge 'B' travelled to Warrenpoint and enjoyed a comprehensive victory across the green. They now face North Down at home in the Semi-Final on the 24th of June.

CLUB NEWS:

Championship Semi-Finalists;

This evening decided our next championship semi-finalists, this time in the NIBA Open Singles, where Alex Cromie & Ross Crawford secured their respective spots in the semi-finals week in Ward Park on 27th July with victories at home. We wish them all the best!

NIBA Cup;

Wednesday 27th May marks the start of the NIBA Senior Cup for our 'A' Team, with a trip away to Sydenham.

Our 'B' Team will head to Warrenpoint, with the hopes of securing their spot in the semi-final of the NIBA Junior Cup.

NIBA Division 1;

Last Saturday our 'A' Team went head to head with Bangor once again. This time coming away with 6 points from a hard fought battle across the four rinks.

Match Day;

Today marks the start of the Irish Cup where Banbridge 'A' take on their fellow NIBA team Whitehead 'A' at home in the Senior Cup, in what is sure to be a thrilling and highly competitive match.

This evening Banbridge 'B' begin their Junior Cup campaign with Shaftesbury 'A' at home. For any spectators this is sure to be a great day of bowls at the King George V playing fields, and all are welcome to come and support the teams.
