Understanding the mechanics behind a slice is crucial for correcting it! A slice usually happens due to an open clubface at impact and an outside-to-inside swing path. Here’s how to tackle these issues:

👉 Grip: Avoid a weak grip. Rotate your hands slightly to the right (if you’re right-handed) so the “V” formed by your thumb and index finger points toward your right shoulder.

👉 Alignment: Ensure your stance is square with your target line—no aiming left or right unless needed for specific shots.

👉 Swing Path: Focus on swinging from the inside to the outside. Imagine the clubhead tracing a line toward your target or slightly right.
