☀️ A summer Buzz with a full house!

Despite the holiday season, last week’s Chipping Norton Buzz was buzzing with brilliant energy, new faces, and great conversations.

It shows that when the coffee, community, and connections are this good, people show up.

🎉 We were back at the gorgeous The Living Room Cinema Chipping Norton, celebrating their second birthday, and big thanks to Simon for not only hosting us so warmly but also offering mini tours of this beautiful venue too.

A few standout moments from the morning:

💼 A strong showing from local financial advisors (we got the group photo to prove it!)
🎭 Excited to announce that The Theatre Chipping Norton is now our official local charity partner.
🌱 Lots of new connections, ideas shared, and genuine support in the room

If you’ve been thinking about joining us - don’t wait!

📅 Next Buzz: Tuesday 10 September
Same time, same great venue, same warm welcome.

✨ The Power of Self-Leadership: It All Starts Within ✨

Self-leadership is the foundation of how we show up in life and work. It’s about recognising that everything you need—clarity, confidence, and resilience—is already within you.

But in the noise of daily life, it’s easy to lose touch with these strengths. So, where do you start?

Here are 3 simple steps to begin your self-leadership journey:

Pause and Reflect.

Ask yourself:
🔹 What truly matters to me today?
🔹 How do I want to impact those around me?
🔹 What’s holding me back from being my best self?

✨ Tip: Journaling can help clarify your thoughts and deepen self-awareness.

Define Your Values

Knowing what drives you makes decision-making clearer and more authentic.

🔹 What’s holding me back from being my best self?

✨ Tip: Write down 3–5 core values that guide you and revisit them often.

Take Accountability

Great leaders own their actions. Ask yourself:

🔹 What’s one small step I can take today to reflect the leader I aspire to be?

Self-leadership isn’t about being perfect—it’s about progress, intention, and showing up for yourself. When you lead yourself with care and purpose, it naturally inspires others to do the same.

Self-Esteem Is Based on What Others Think About You 13/12/2024

Is your self-esteem tied to others' opinions?

The way we view ourselves is often influenced by how we think others see us. Self-esteem is shaped by two key factors:

1️⃣ Perceptions of how others view us.
2️⃣ How much we rely on these perceptions.

This can be especially challenging for leaders, whose actions are constantly scrutinised. But here's the question: Are you letting external perceptions define your self-worth?

Strong leadership isn’t about chasing approval—it’s about staying grounded in your values, aligning with your purpose, and leading with confidence, even when the spotlight feels intense.

💬 How do you stay centred and maintain self-esteem in the face of external opinions? Share your thoughts below.
