Charlton & District Football Club

Unfortunately we have some very sad news about the club to report, as of Monday after communicating with The FA the decision has been made to fold Charlton & District Football club. This has been a very difficult decision and its a sad day but due to a lack of available players it’s decision that had to be made. A massive thanks to Keith Wilks for all his hard work over the years behind the scenes running the club, Steve Appleton for his help over recent years running the reserves and first team, and anyone else who has been connected to the club over the years wether it be on the sidelines or playing. You never know what the future holds so maybe we will be back one day but for now it’s goodbye and all the best to the lads who were with us this season on finding new clubs and playing football.

After a weekend off we’re back in action this weekend at home to Bloxham.

Another hard fought pre-season game yesterday but unfortunately a last minute goal meant it ended in defeat. We’re back in action this Tuesday for more pre-season action.
