Join us for the annual Bodicote Sports presentation night at the Horse & Jockey Bodicote — an evening packed with drinks, laughs, awards, and plenty of football banter as we celebrate the season in style! From questionable tackles to dodgy back passes, every moment will be remembered as players, supporters, and friends come together for a brilliant night at the club.
Expect prizes, raffle fun, and of course the legendary £5 football card, where someone could walk away with a tidy little win before the night’s shenanigans really get going. Whether you’ve played, supported from the sidelines, or just fancy a great night out, this is one you won’t want to miss!
There will also be live music to keep the vibe going. It’ll be a fantastic way to end the evening—so don’t miss it!

Last game of the season for our Vets, it was a big game for the opponents, with Bicester Town Colts needing the win to win the league. In typical Bodicote Vets style they didnt take the game laying down.
Bicester took the lead via a own goal with a defensive mix up.
We came out second with the bit between our teeth,
Stu Burgess leveled the game with a daisy cutter volley which went in off the post.
It was all Bodicote with some nice possession play.
Late on in the game Chris Heritage scored the winner to hand the title to Hardwick Sports Vets

We bring the curtain down on a topsy turvy season with a friendly against an Adderbury park XI.

A good overall performance saw us come away with a 4-1 victory, with goals coming from Jordan Silva, Tom Reeves and Tom O’cleary

Our man of the match today Tom Reeves as voted by the opposition ran the game in the middle of the park and topped off his performance with a long range goal.

Not the result our reserves wanted to end their season. But it was a hard fought game which saw them just lose out on 3 points.

The GMs final game of the season saw them share the points with Wroxton Sports Football Club .

For the last game of the season after already securing 3rd place in the table they picked names out of a hat for positions, and it showed.. 😅.

Both teams had their chances but it was even at the end.

Little Lewis popped up with a bullet heads to open the scoring And Shaun Gibson got if first 2 goals of the season, one from the penalty spot and the other a well directed header at the back post.

All in all a very good first season for the GM team, one I know Gary would have been proud of.. 🙏
