✨️ THE POWER of HORMONES✨️ strap in....
I hope this post helps anybody who is struggling to make sense of symptoms and where to find evidenced based information (MEN this is for you too!)
📈Hormones influence so much more than our monthly cycle.
♥️They can affect our energy, mood, sleep, confidence, concentration, recovery, motivation, relationships, work, and family life. Feeling exhausted, anxious, overwhelmed, or simply "not themselves".
🌪Whether you're navigating periods, perimenopause, menopause, or any stage in between, understanding your hormones is one of the most POWERFUL things you can do for your health.
💡 Every woman's experience is unique, so finding the right support and evidence-based information is essential.
📚 A couple of my RECOMMENDATIONS 📚
🌟One of the BEST resources I've found is Dr Louise Newson. She has a wealth of knowledge on hormone health, and shares science-based, evidence-led information in a way that's practical, easy to understand, and cuts through the overwhelming amount of conflicting advice. She's helping educate women around the 🌏 to advocate for themselves and make informed decisions about their health.
🌟 Helen - The Menopause Pharmacist based in Aberdeen helped me a couple of years ago by validating my understanding and providing options to go forward 🙏
🏃♀️💪Exercise is another powerful tool. It won't solve everything, but regular movement can help support hormone health by improving mood, reducing stress, boosting energy, supporting bone and muscle strength, improving sleep, and helping many women manage symptoms more effectively.
✨️It's about finding movement that works for you
♥️Keek talking and learning. Encourage every woman to seek the right information and the right healthcare professionals who listen, understand, and treat hormone health with the importance it deserves.
Because when women are informed, they are empowered. 💛
