1- Name & age
Reece Rodgers | 33
2- Qualifications (& whatβs next)
BTEC Ext. Diploma in Sport (2012)
Foundation Degree in Sports Science (2014)
Level 2 Fitness Instructor (2012)
Level 3 PT (2016)
Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral (2017)
Level 4 Specialist in Fitness Programming for Clients with Mental Health Conditions (2021)
No immediate plans to add more, but never say never π
3- Coaching experience to date
I started in 2013 at Bangor Aurora, mostly lifeguarding and covering some gym shifts during holiday periods. I took a year out to work/travel in Australia in 2014 then returned to Aurora early 2016 and have worked in the gym part-time since then
Up until 2018 I was mostly 1-1 coaching/programming across a wide range of abilities. Since 2018 Iβve also coached regular group fitness classes for adults & juniors β which has helped me become a more well-rounded coach
4- My main goal
Help clients feel happier in themselves and to maximise the enjoyment they get from their training
5- Training style
Simple & sustainable. Mix of resistance & cardio (typically 2 resistance days, 1 cardio). Longevity over performance all day
6- Favourite music
Huge Sasha & John Digweed fan (I DJ for a living at the weekends). To be honest I listen to a wide range of music; Motown, northern soul, funk, hip-hop/R&B, dance, a bit of modern country, blues/rock & pop. Rarely the radio
7- Random fact
My first nightclub DJ gig was at 16 β nearly didnβt get past the door staff π
8- What brought me into fitness (besides the 5am alarms β°)
Helping people enjoy their training Iβd say. The transformations Iβve witnessed over the last 11 years have been unreal β€οΈ

1- Name & age
Daniel Warke, 24 years young.
2- Qualifications (so far) & whatβs next
Level 3 Personal Training Diploma
Level 2 Athletics NI Coaching Qualification.
Right now, Iβm focused on gaining as much hands on experience as possible. Iβm always continuously learning through my own research and real life coaching. An advanced S&C or nutrition qualification could definitely be in the works down the line though.
3- Coaching experience to date
Iβve coached children aged 6β12 through volunteering at my local running club, working with Active Youth and PeacePlayers NI, and now with Seven Fitness Junior Fit.
Itβs been great transitioning into coaching adults in small group classes - I really enjoy the variety and different challenges it brings.
4- Main goal within the fitness industry
To help more people make health and fitness part of their lifestyle and not just something they try for a few weeks then give up.
I believe it becomes sustainable when itβs enjoyable, structured realistically, and simple enough to stick to. My aim is to show people it doesnβt need to be complicated to work.
5- Training style
Hybrid or what the cool folk call Hybrid Rockstar these days⦠I enjoy running and lifting with purpose to build strength while staying lean and fit.
Iβve completed several marathons and an ultramarathon last year.
6- Favourite music
Depends on the mood but Iβm into a wide range of genres from folk to indie to rap. Although current favourite band is definitely Wunderhorse.
6- Random fact
Iβm half Dutch, I have seven tattoos, and Iβm Grade 7 in piano.
One of these is true - Iβll let you guess which.
7 β What brought me into fitness (besides the 5am alarms β°)
Do a job you love and youβll never work a day in your life isnβt that that what they say?
Fitness has always been a big passion of mine and it just made sense to work in it.
