I like placements like this. Each hex on it's own would suffice as a bombproof bit of gear, but they happened to be just the right distance apart to equalise on one carabiner. Lush.

Mountain biking on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) a few years back. Snowdon is one of the few Welsh mountains with bridleways that can legally be cycled, albeit subject to seasonal restrictions and the severities of weather at altitude.

A throwback to the past! In 2019, before the world knew what "social distancing" was, I ran a bespoke two day trip where we canoed the length of Windermere, from Newby Bridge, up to Ambleside, over the course of two leisurely days... Camping in the middle. I was trawling through old photos and found this one of me, bringing the memories of a trip I'd almost forgotten, back to the front of my mind.
