Prioritising quality movements with free weights has always been my MO.

I think that moving well and coordinated sets you up better than anything else, even if it's only for the first 3-6 months, whatever you decide to push towards next your baseline will be huge compared to others that are more machine based.

If you were going to do it, it would be done.

A bit like when I say I'll take the bins out, but here we are a full bin and another week to wait....

Sometimes you need help to achieve what you want, and sometimes you need to put your money where your mouth is.

I run a tight ship but a caring one, we work together to achieve when you set out to. There might be some tears, sick and laughter in-between. But what comes easy isn't worth it and what comes hard can't be easy.

Trust me, you will appreciate what you work for alot more than what's given to you.

Just a couple of points about food and you.

Don't freak out after a holiday, nothing happens overnight (weight gain/loss) consistent effort will make the biggest change for these.

Don't jump on the click bate chocolate milk, have a meal or a protein shake post workout!

Injury's, ni**le, pulled muscles etc...

If you've trained hard you will likely have picked up an injury.

It takes time and patience to get everything right again.

has been with me to help with those injuries, build on the weak spots and push those places that were already strong.

With a full time schedule between family, work, pole and anything physical, Karen really does like to stay busy (especially walking the best boy bear). Together we have worked to improve on diet and ofcourse that work in the gym.

You must fuel your body to allow for repair and making dietary changes has been a hurdle. Karen has a huge work ethic and will continue to make big changes for herself in the most positive way 🤜

aka captain Falcon 🦅. Made a big decision to do better for himself and to enjoy every part of the journey.

Robbie has made huge gains in regards to building muscle, diet and cutting out the pints at the weekend. A hard task for someone that has worked in a bar sense he can remember. Now stepping into a new career as a fully qualified plumber, he continues to push himself physically.

Working together to rehab his shoulder, keeping form perfect and strengthening and building the muscle around it to support both technique but also help on the way to building those lifts he wanted to improve.

It's been a genuine pleasure training Robbie and having him as part of the Lean N Mean team 🤜

has been putting that graft in 🤜 will has always hit the gym with intensity. He approached me about improving on his current work to help build muscle.

This time last year will ripped his peck of his shoulder, proceeded to not get surgery and do no rehab. We worked together to get this under control first, and now we are building on what we have achieved.

He truly loves the gym and it's a pleasure to train someone that carries this passion for the gym. Once we started we had to fix that diet up drastically, this is what let him down prior. We also built in intensity through his workouts and worked with eachother to find what's helping his torn peck effectively.

You are the one holding yourself back

The "I'll start tomorrow" attitude is one of the hardest to break.

It allows you to stop progress in your tracks

I've worked with many people and this is the one mindset that's hardest to crack for people that have lived years not pushing themselves into anything uncomfortable or out of the ordinary. Even if the ordinary is killing you.

Step out to put some work in, I can guarantee the only bad thing that will happen is progress and that you'll realise that you wished you'd started sooner.
