Donegal 2026 debrief. 5 members attended this years donegal trip, we all rode the small bikes (they are all small to me tbf). I travelled with stew, jonny travelled with big rob and ian met us there. The house was in a good spot overlooking the sea about a mile from the singing pub, the only down side was that some of our bovine friends had been in recently seemingly for the sole purpose of going number 2 everywhere on the driveway. We were missing adrian because we had precisely zero provisions except a box of beer, bottle of port and some crackers and cheese, surely 5 enduro men can survive on that? We arrived at tea time and offloaded the machines and headed off in the rain to meet rob and jonny who had already been on the trails. It was as wet as a hookers bath towel, but we preserved and headed off to seek adventure, unfortunately all we found was a crazy farmer waving his arms like a crashing helicopter telling us to “get out, get out” he then rambled something about a bull and cow and calves. We about turned and accidentally roosted old mcdonald for good measure. Not to be beaten we found some offroad which was enjoyable but all decided it was beer oclock. Back to coo sh*te hotel then and opened the beer. It was soon time for some grub and down to the singing pub. They realised it was 2dabz returning for the third year in a row so naturally put us in the farthest table away from society possible and told us to be quiet and eat lots. Good Guinness and better food. Hard to beat. A few games of pool after dinner with the obligatory rum and cokes. Time for a reasonably early night in preparation for a big day on Saturday. We decided to take jordan scotts advice and try arranmore island, glad we did. Bike loaded into the van and off we went for the ferry, an hours drive away. On the drive we passed errigal and stopped for a picture. Setting of again we encountered a very distressed pheasant that was clearly suicidal and before we could say “think about your wife and kids” it proceeded to jump infront of the dabz van, nearly ending up on stewarts lap, it bounced off my screen and into the undergrowth in a cloud of feathers, happily the van was undamaged, darren would have stopped and that would have been his dinner for sure. Ferry tickets acquired and after a 20min sailing we headed straight for the closest beach and proceeded to get bogged in to the axles in babies head sized shale. Good start jordan, never trust a man with a nose ring! Once we dug the bikes out things took a turn for the better and we found good trails and stunning scenery, skids and wheelies were order of the day. Back on the mainland we headed for home and to get the wine open and fire lit, one worked better than the other. We decided that we would hit the metropolis known as downings for food and again the grub was excellent. On to the harbour bar where the scenery was good, local cuttys with legs to their armpits everywhere. Your current scribe sadly over done it on (deep breath) red wine, white wine, cider, Guinness, rum and cokes, so had to get jonnys van keys and sit there and contemplate my life choices. Taxi home and up for breakfast in the same hotel as the night before. I fully intended to drive home at this point but was convinced to stay for more craic. Gear on and headed off in to a biblical rain storm, belter craic. I was dripping like a fu**ed fridge. But the day got better and turned into another epic day in donegal. Home last night to dump the wet kit at the current wifes feet, splashing through the bog water puddles in the hall. I wonder why she isnt talking to me. Well done all and on to the next one. 👍

What an event at Robinsons Claudy. Thank you to all the Proride team. 2dabz kingpin Robert Eadie got to spray the winners champagne. Usually at this point after a race you all get a debrief full of lies of how fast we were and innuendo but this seems inappropriate considering one of our own enduro family is suffering today. All our thoughts are with the Hanna family. Hope to see Stevie on the trails soon. Thanks barry and team, what a great day. What a sport x

Negotiations have started with potential 2dabz riders for the up coming Proride season. We like to give up and coming riders a shot at the big time.
