Usually at this point after a race you all get a debrief full of lies of how fast we were and innuendo but this seems inappropriate considering one of our own enduro family is suffering today. Ok gentleman. A successful agm for 2025. For those absent here is a speech debrief- Welcome and thanks for coming, good to see everyone and especially good to see jonny sitting comfortably, i know he isnt used to being so close to the front! As we reflect on 2025 we have to remember what we achieved. We supported ozzy rider andrew houlihan in the dakar rally, well done andrew, big effort. We supported andy kildea win another irish road race championship, a successful donegal trip in march, greg and ross tackled spain, big rob did two rallies far afield, we all competed in proride and 6 counties enduros, nacarne, iom trip for 4 of us, and a spain trip on the big bikes in September which personally was a highlight. Operationally we introduced weedabz a junior team, we have owen and joel, jack and rory, jacob and of course wee bill magee, well done boys. Keep up the good work. We welcome Ross to the team, he didnt ask to join but as we all know, you dont choose 2dabz, 2dabz chooses you! Billy has been busy in oz recruiting Andrew h, well done wullie. As we look to 2026 we have jonny and big Rob doing a rally from italy to istanbul in march, we have stewart trying trials riding (so he can fall off at lower speeds), jonny has went futuristic af with the purchase of a stark varg, we also will compete in the paddy Dakar. Greg, ross and aidzo are venturing to Andalusia on the adventure bikes. We hope to see greg and Adrian back on enduro bikes in the new year, you are both in the running for the alright to sh*te award. Speaking of awards, we now have to present the 2025 awards. Silly billy award goes to a rider who decided to risk his fellow competitors safety by directing them intentionally into danger to help his own cause (ie stuck in the mud, changed the course tape to direct people to him), well done ian semple, enjoy having a 7 inch appendage for life. Crash of the year was closely fought, stew was in the running basically every time he rode a bike, big rob took a bad slap at the tt and a bigger slap at a rally which involved some bush fixes to get him running again. Also jonny giving himself concussion 🤕 twice (froot). Not to mention greg deciding to be so laid back the government decided he couldn’t drive any more. But the prize goes to rob lennon for his arm break at todds leap, well done on your titanium plate and 6 months of wife grief! Rider of the year went to a rider that made progress on every ride, from starting the year hardly able to sit on a bike to keeping up with the rest of us. He even blew up his bike from over exuberance, well done to Jacob Bradley who at age 5 is def the future of 2dabz. We must mention absent members, darren and Rob Crawford, we look forward to seeing you soon. Keep doing what you are doing and look out for each other. Heres to 2026 x
