The outcomes of a Specialist Survival Course ?

No!

This is the work of a group of 11 year old school children.
Using teamwork, creative thinking, leadership, compromise and imagination. They built this shelter in the magical woodland backdrop of Aberglaslyn Hall Outdoor Education Centre.
Yet another centre of incredible and unique opportunities lost a few years back.
Children really need these experiences, especially those cooped up in concrete cities, those that don't get the opportunity to build something from scratch, to have a shared success with peers, to feel a sense of belonging and achievement.

Whilst most of us have stopped dipping our toes in these waters whilst we await spring or are biding our time as the current lockdown ends, these little critters have the lake mostly to themselves to settle in.
Padarn is a pretty special place on lots of levels!
