Does anyone have 2 x via ferratta lanyards could borrow for 2 weeks?

had a fun day out on Cloggy slightly spoiled by collecting these on the way down. I like the sentiment in the signs but it's a bit pointless if the halfway cafe on the llanberis path sells this much plastic crap to be chucked in the ditch. Any chance of encouraging the cafes on the mountain to use paper cups?

Every year I end up collecting this sort of thing. Left by family groups having a nice picnic, leaving a few used nappies, then leaving stuff for the crows to tear apart. SNP you need to start dealing with this, it's not going to go away. We need signage, bins art popular laybys and a regular service to empty them. No you shouldn't have to do this, but there is no alternative any more. Snowdonia is not a wilderness, it's a tourist attraction for unsustainably high numbers of people who don't know better.

Last day of winter work and last winter route for a while, a little earlier than expected, but in light of the current situation, I am going to be in the hills on my own for a while for personal fun - both physical and psychological well being. Work now switching back to medicine, and hoping we can weather the coming storm better, based on the learning from countries such as Italy who were not able to prepare. A great last day out with Steve, working for West Coast Mountain Guides on Minus Three IV 5 and Right Hand Wall Route IV 5, on Ben Nevis - good ice and screws where you need them. Monday with Rich and Steve on Dorsal Arete, giving them a full Scottish winter experience! It's been a great season, despite the storms, looking forward to the next one. Social scenes on Schoolhouse Ridge today for Damien and myself. Alpine views and a little sunburn maybe! Good to share the summit with Pete and Ryan, careful to avoid the big cornices on the ridge, more days like this please!

What a fantastic week of winter climbing! Teamed up with Neil and climbed hidden chimney direct yesterday and Yukon Jack today at Mess of Pottage. Navved off the top in a blizzard being careful to avoid the many increasingly slow laden slopes as this weather pushes up the avalanche hazard. Have fun but be careful out there!

Great few days out with George progressing mountaineering skills in challenging conditions. Skills in Coire na Tuloch, winter mixed climbing on the Dragon's Tooth, Sgorr Dhonuill, and leading his first winter route, all while avoiding avalanche hazards and storms! Well done!
