Somehow, amongst the chaos, questionable ideas, menopause, business stress, inappropriate conversations and laughing at things we absolutely shouldn’t… we built something we’re ridiculously proud of.

Glow Up was never meant to be beige. And neither are we.

We’re getting older, getting bolder, caring considerably less what people think and having an absolute ball while we’re at it. Wear the swimsuit. Take the photo. Start the business. Lift heavy s**t. Back yourself. Be a little inappropriate. And never, EVER make yourself smaller to make somebody else comfortable.

Are we everyone’s cup of tea? Absolutely fu***ng not.

BEHIND EVERY BUSINESS IS A PERSON. ❤️

Sometimes I think we forget that.

We see the building.
The sign.
The brand.
The social media posts.
The business.

But behind all of that is a person.

A person with feelings.
A person who worries.
A person who overthinks.
A person who gets tired.
A person who has good days and really fu***ng hard days.

Being a business owner isn't just turning up, opening the doors and going home.

Your mind doesn't switch off.
You're constantly thinking. Planning. Problem-solving. Spending. Investing. Improving. Questioning. Wondering if you're doing enough.

And sometimes, behind the smile and the confidence, there's someone carrying a hell of a lot more than you realise.

So before judging the business, the decisions, the price, the person or the situation…

Take a minute.

Forget the building.
Forget the sign.
Forget the business.

Think about the people.

Think about what it has taken to build it.
Think about what they might be carrying that you can't see.

Because we're all human.
