Grandmaster Bryan Whiley Black Belt Academy

July 13th 2025 a rather warm, sunny day for a Dan Grade Exam. Baek Ho Student Andrew (Drew) Crawford was promoted to 2nd Dan and Jacob Killeen promoted to 1st Dan. Congratulations gentlemen.

It was rather warm and humid on Sunday 22nd June when members of Grandmaster Bryan Whiley’s Black Belt Academy came together to attend a three hour Taekwondo Seminar.
There were plenty of breaks to rehydrate.
There was a short meeting of the Baek Ho Master Grade Instructors before the technical training began.
Basic double knife hand drills were practised as were elbow strike techniques. Kicking drills were also practised with kicking targets and partners.
Dan grade Poomsae were practised with some finer details explained.
One step sparring and free sparring took place before ending the class with a warm down which included breathing and stretching exercises.
Grandmaster Bryan was emphasising, throughout the seminar the importance of breath control and relaxation when practising the art.

14th July 2024 Grandmaster Bryan Whiley Black Belt Academy Dan Grade Exam. Promoted to 1st Dan Claire Wilson, promoted to 5th Dan Brigit Kinsey, promoted to 6th Dan Jennie Lee. Special mention to Michael Singleton who graded to Master Grade 7th Dan. Big congratulations to all. Thanks to Master Grade Klara Whiley and Master Grade Sean Hayes for their help during the proceedings
