What a fantastic month February was on the pigeons👌 Some great bags but more importantly plenty of oilseed r**e crops protected and some happy farmers. Let’s hope for more of the same this month..

Pheasant shooting Syndicate vacancies available....

15th January let day individual pegs available.

Due to cancellation Holm hill shoot has 4 pegs available on a 60 bird, fully driven pheasant day situated in north Cumbria. Friday 15th of January.

9 guns shooting in a fully driven re-established shoot in North Cumbria, 5 miles from Carlisle near the village of Dalston. A central postcode is CA5 7AH. Price will be £260 per gun. 5/6 drives in the day. Full hospitality on the day including pastries at the shoot bothy with tea and coffee on arrival. , 11 o clocks in the field and a pre prepared packed lunch for dinner.

I am looking for guns who are not motivated by numbers but people who will appreciate good sport and the social aspect of the day.

Land & topography
Holm Hill has a good mixture of topography with well spaced mature hardwood and softwood woodland.Many drives are off rolling hills which present challenging and rewarding shooting. There are notable drives from the mature wooded banks over the River Caldew and out of Raughton Wood which produce some fantastic birds.

A 50% deposit is due to secure the peg with the balance due 48hrs before the day via BACS. If the day can’t go ahead to due to covid an alternative date at the end of the season will be offered OR can be carried over to next season.
