So incredibly proud of this young man; Rhys Foster. He trains twice a week every single week and always completes the Park run before my Saturday morning class. Last Sunday he completed his first marathon in London and was a support runner. Completed in 4hrs 40mins he did AMAZING! What an inspiration you are to Baek Ho and to everyone else and we are so pleased to have you! Very well done! 👏👏👏👏

2026 4th April Grandmaster Bryan Whiley and his wife Master Grade Klara Whiley were invited to judge a decorated egg competition at the Mickleton in Teesdale Baek Ho Taekwondo Class.
It was nice for Grandmaster Bryan and Master Klara to meet the students. The eggs were judged and the results will be posted.

Well last session of Spring term No.1 tonight at HANSU Baek Ho Taekwondo and although there were several unable to attend we had a great session.
We started off with the bleep test, getting comfortably to level 5 then watched Rhys carry on until a crazy level 11😱😱!!
We then practiced all our poomsae from Il Jang upwards..
Master Jennie and Master Sean made a spirited attempt at Cheonkwon but we feel a little more practice needed..

After that some enthusiastic pounding of kicking targets was completed. Well done Jake and Isla and Jake hope your feet aren’t too sore.
We will return to class on Thursday April 23rd in the mean time here’s a few photos from the archive.

March 31st 2026 the Tuesday night Baek Ho Class had an Easter Egg decoration contest. Grandmaster Bryan Whiley and Master Klara Whiley were invited to judge the entries. Results to follow.

Massive congratulations to my students who train with me on Tuesday night at the sports centre. I am so incredibly proud of each and everyone of you! Every single week you train hard and do your very best, very well done!! 🎉👏Massive thank you to Grandmaster Brya and Klara for taking the grading! Your experience was vital.

A new term begins! Hansu Baek Ho classes will start again this Thursday (5th March) at Mickleton Village Hall 19:00-20:00.
Hope to see everyone there and fingers crossed for no snow storms!

A huge well done to the fantastic students from Bishops Baek Ho Taekwondo who graded this week. What a hardworking and enthusiastic group of young people this is - and their dedication really shone through as they took the floor.

Unfortunately the bad weather seems to have once again decided to descend on Thursday night's Taekwondo class in Mickleton.

We have forecast yellow warnings of heavy snow and ice from mid afternoon today.
I have therefore sadly decided to cancel tonights class (12th February) as the road conditions may be hazardous.
