Heard the first cuckoo today. The cuckoo is on the red list and has suffered a global decline so its always good to hear one in our valley.

Great to see The Auckland Project's Spanish Gallery won Small Visitor Attraction of the Year at the North East Tourism Awards. It's a fascinating gallery and has a great tapas restaurant as well!
