It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Daniel Kestrel, the father of one of our players, Dylan, and a valued part of our AFC Pogmoor family.
Moments like these remind us that there are things in life far more important than football. It is the love, support and strength of family, friends and community that matter most.
Daniel was a genuinely lovely person, a devoted father and husband, a good friend to many, and a constant source of support from the sidelines. He was always there to encourage, support and cheer on the boys, and his presence will be deeply missed by everyone.
As a team, we are heartbroken by this loss. Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences are with Daniel's wife, Lucy, children, Dylan, Ivy and Josh and all of his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
Rest in peace, Daniel. You will always be remembered and will forever remain part of our Pogmoor family. ❤️⚽🖤
