Well done to our boys down in Nottingham today! We’re all very proud! 👏

Today we’ve had Lily, Samuel and Ethan competing at Nottingham! Lily secured herself a gold and Samuel achieved a silver! Ethan took part in the under 8’s category and was simply amazing coming home with another medal! Samuel and Ethan also fought at the Hebdon Bridge competition last week!! 🥇🥈🏅we’re all very proud at Barnsley Judo Club!

Brilliant day for Barnsley Judo Club 🙌 our juniors entered the Nottingham comp and did us all proud! For many of the juniors this was their first competition but they didn’t shy away! Great team work from all players and parents 🙌

Barnsley Judo Club are currently training every Monday and Wednesday at Dorothy Hyman Sports Centre 19:00-20:30. We’re a small friendly community club and welcome new players. Affordable classes £4 juniors £5 seniors.

Such an incredible day to be working with professional athletes and hearing their stories of their achievements.

Barnsley Judo Club are training every week, we will be running a new beginners course in the coming weeks to follow for more! 👀

‼️ Judo training is cancelled tonight at Holy Trinity (8.01.25) we’ve taken the decision to cancel training due to the risk of ice on the premises and freezing temperatures expected this evening ‼️

Reminder we have the kids class Dorothy Hyman Sports Centre every Monday 6:30pm-7:30pm in the Olympic suite upstairs!

This is a small non-profit community club run by qualified coaches who want to share their knowledge and passion for judo. Our aim is to share this with the local community by creating affordable training.
