Houghton Main Cricket Club Juniors

This evening sees our Under 11 team travel to Monk Bretton, to play their Under 11's in a BDJCA league fixture 💚🏏

Last week, the guys secured their first win against Scholes & Harley, hopefully the team will enjoy a great game of cricket and add another win to their season💚🏏

HOUGHTON FEST 2026 is on Sunday 24th May and will be featuring a selection of the best local music acts in South Yorkshire with:

Beautifully Dangerous 🥁🎸
Angel Vocals🎙
and a headline set from Cheap Date🎸🤘🏽

All funds raised on the day will go towards the development of the club as a whole, with a focus on the development of our ever growing Junior Section💸🏏

Aswell as our music acts we have food stalls such as Robbo's Barbeque Takeaway and Lee's Asbo Ices, as well as some retail stalls and a Club Run Tombola and raffle🍔🍦

We are hoping for some great weather conditions on the day and hopefully we will have an amazing time together whilst also raising plenty of money for the club 💚

An absolutely amazing evening of cricket at Houghton Main today, with our Under 11 side securing their FIRST EVER win over Scholes & Harley Under 11s 💚🏏

The boys played the game in incredible spirits and in the end won the game by over 30 runs after putting on a net score of 254-3💚🏏

It was impossible to pick a player of the match today as each and everyone of the team were unbelievable!

Huge well done and hopefully we can make it 2 wins in 2 against Monk Bretton CC next week🏏

Our Under 9's team will be attending several tournaments on Saturday Morning's in the summer ☀️🏏

We will host tournaments on the 30th May and 27th June 💚🏏
