✨ EXAM DAY! ✨

In just a few hours, we will be welcoming our official IDTA International Dance Teachers Association Examiner for our examination session.

Our students have worked incredibly hard over the last few months, showing dedication, commitment, and determination every step of the way.

We couldn't be prouder of everything they have achieved, and we're so excited to see them showcase all their hard work today.

Remember to believe in yourselves, dance with confidence, and most importantly, enjoy every moment.

Let's smash this, my little team! πŸ’™

7️⃣ Days to go 7️⃣

Only seven days to go until our official IDTA exam.

Our students of all ages including our adults have been working extremely hard over the last couple of months to perfect their routines and hopefully get a high score.

We are super excited as some of our students have even moved into silver category's.

I am one proud dance teacher and can't wait to see how well they do

Hello people of Barnsley and surrounding areas!

We're looking to bring something a little different to town for adults.

We're thinking about launching a series of themed one-off dance classes, with the aim of making them a bi-monthly event if there's enough interest.

Now we need your help!
What dance style would you love to learn, or what theme would you like to be part of?

Think:
✨ Bridgerton
🀠 Cowboys & Boots
🎢 Harry Styles
🏰 Disney
πŸ’ƒ Line Dancing
🎀 Musical Theatre
πŸ•Ί 80s & 90s Classics
🌟 And so much more!

Our personal favourite has to be Bridgerton, but we want to hear your ideas.

Tell us in the comments:οΏ½πŸ‘‡ What theme would get you booking a place?
οΏ½πŸ‘‡ Would you come with friends, a partner, or on your own?

πŸ‘―Just 10 days to go until our IDTA International Dance Teachers Association exams! πŸ‘―

Today we'd like to give a special shout-out to Jade, one of our dedicated adult dancers.

Jade has been part of our dance family for just over two years. She brings her son along to classes each week and still finds the time and commitment to attend her own classes too. This will be her second exam session with us, and she's certainly not taking the easy route!

Jade is taking three Bronze Award exams in:
✨ Freestyle Disco
✨ Rock 'n' Roll
✨ Street Dance

I was truly humbled when Jade shared why she loves dancing. In particular, her Rock 'n' Roll journey is a tribute to her grandma. Family connections like that make dance even more special, and it's something that resonates with me now more than ever.

Jade, we are incredibly proud of your hard work, determination and passion. Keep believing in yourself and enjoy every moment of the experience.

Good luck to Jade and to all of our dancers taking exams this session. We know how much effort you've all put in, and we can't wait to see you shine.

Go smash it, everyone! πŸ’™β

πŸ† Award-Winning Student! πŸ†

At SB Dance, we are so much more than just a dance school we are a family. We celebrate each other’s achievements, support one another through every challenge, and cheer the loudest when our dancers shine.

On Friday, our incredible student Bonnie was shortlisted for the Young Champions Award for Young Volunteer.

To be shortlisted was an amazing achievement in itself, but Bonnie went one step further and won the award! πŸŽ‰

This recognition is a testament to Bonnie’s kindness, dedication, hard work, and willingness to help others. She is a wonderful role model, and we couldn't be prouder to have her as part of our SB Dance family.

Bonnie, your achievement is truly inspiring, and we are all so proud of everything you have accomplished. Keep being your amazing self and making a difference wherever you go.

πŸ’™ Congratulations, Bonnie! Your SB Dance family is incredibly proud of you! πŸ’™βœ¨
